Welcome to your home away from home! We're thrilled to have you as part of our vibrant community here at the residence. Whether you're a returning resident or a newcomer, this welcome page is designed to provide you with essential information to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable living experience.

BI-WEEKLY FLOOR MEETINGS These are held to discuss important updates, upcoming events, and address any concerns or suggestions you may have. Connect with your Floor Resident Assistant for more information.

UNIT CONDITION FORMS Your comfort is important to us, and we want to address any issues promptly. If you notice any maintenance concerns or issues with your room, please fill out the New Condition Form available at the front desk.


KEY POLICIES

To ensure a safe and respectful living environment for everyone, it's crucial to familiarize yourself with our key policies. ROOMMATE AGREEMENTS Living with roommates is an exciting part of the college experience. We encourage you and your roommates to discuss expectations, preferences, and shared responsibilities. To assist you in this process, we provide a Roommate Agreement template. Please hand it to your floor RA after signing.

RES CUP Get ready for some friendly competition! The Res Cup is a series of events and activities held on each LAST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH to foster community spirit and camaraderie among residents. Stay tuned for announcements about upcoming Res Cup events – you won't want to miss out on the fun!

I am One of the two Resident Assistants on the 3rd floor, I am eager to provide dedicated assistance and support to our valued Residents.

Ashonte Monrose Hi everyone ! My name is Ashonté and I’m an Early Childhood Education student from Barbados and now the new 4th floor RA! I’m very excited to meet everyone and have an amazing year being your RA !



Mental health Matters! Let’s take a moment this month to say to each other, “Hi, how are you?” and make sure we really mean it, and answer truthfully. Together we can start the year off right regarding mental health!

Fallon is a resident of the 2nd floor and her consistent attendance and active participation in all resident programs and events have truly set her apart. We want to take the time to thank Fallon for her contribution in making our community a better place for everyone!


Res-cipe Chai Latte

1/4 tsp Cinnamon 1/8 teaspoon Ginger 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg 1/8 teaspoon fennel seeds 1 cup water 1 bag black tea) ½ cup fresh 2% milk (or whole milk)* 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup (or honey)

Instructions 1. In a small saucepan over medium high heat, whisk together chai spices, water and tea bag and bring to a boil. Once boiling, remove it from the heat and allow it to rest for 1 minute. 2. Then strain through a fine mesh strainer. Rinse the saucepan. Add the milk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Heat the milk to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. 3. Use hand frother, whisk, or French press to foam the milk. Rest the foam for about 30 seconds, which allows it to set.


HONEY-ROASTED CHICKEN & ROOT VEGETABLES Ingredients 1 Tsp Salt 1 Tsp pepper 1 Tsp minced fresh

Preheat oven to 375°. Combine salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sprinkle half the seasoning mixture over chicken breasts. Add to skillet; cook until golden brown, 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside. Add wine and 2 tablespoons honey to pan; cook 2-3 minutes, stirring to loosen browned bits.

Combine sweet potatoes and carrots in a microwave-safe bowl. Add remaining olive oil, seasonings and honey to vegetables; stir to combine. Microwave, covered, until potatoes are just tender, 10 minutes..

breast 1/2 Cup Whole Wine 3 Tbsps Honey, divided 3 Peeled medium sweet potatoes, chopped 4 medium peeled carrots, chopped 2 Cups Chicken Stock

Transfer vegetables to a shallow roasting pan. Add chicken stock anwine mixture; top vegetables with chicken. Roast until a thermometer inserted in chicken reads 165°, 25-30 minutes. Serve with vegetables and sauce.
