Theme: The theme is Holiday, so your door should reflect the season!

Materials: Use materials that are safe and temporary. Avoid causing damage to the door and surrounding areas.

Safety: Ensure your decorations do not obstruct walkways, fire exits, or any safety equipment.

Submissions: Residents should submit a picture of the decorated door, unit number and participants name from the same unit by direct messaging @centennialres1 on Instagram

Judging criteria: The winner will be chosen by the management team based on creativity, adherence to the theme and overall artistic merit. PROFANITY IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED!

ROOMMATE TIPS

Lets learn to live in peace and harmony

COMMUNICATION

Communicate with your roommates. Discuss your school schedule so you know what times each other are studying. Talk to each other about a cleaning schedule and cleanliness expectations.

RESPECT

Respect eachother. If your roommate tells you they have a test, respect that. Be quiet and maybe don’t have guests over during that time. Do not use are eat your roommates food unless it is already communicated that you can do so.

MEDIATION

If you are having a conflict with your roommates then contact your resident assistants to get supports. Your resident assistants can help create a plan to meet with all your roommates to

Ingredients:

12 oz (340 g) semi-sweet

chocolate or milk chocolate

Hot cocoa mix (about 6 tbsp)

Mini marshmallows

Sprinkles (optional, for decoration)

6 silicone or plastic sphere molds

Instructions:

Microwave the chocolate in a bowl, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth.

Spoon melted chocolate into the sphere molds. Use the back of a spoon to spread it evenly.

Chill the molds in the fridge for 10 minutes, then apply a second thin coat to ensure durability. Chill again. Gently remove the chocolate shells from the molds.

In half the shells, add 1 tablespoon of hot cocoa mix and a few mini marshmallows Warm a plate in the microwave. Take an empty shell, press its edge onto the plate for a second to slightly melt it, and quickly attach it to a filled half. Smooth out the seam if needed

Drizzle melted chocolate on top and add sprinkles or crushed candy canes for a festive look.

Place one hot chocolate bomb in a mug, pour hot milk over it, and watch it burst open! Stir well and enjoy.
