Welcome to a New Year!
New year new you! A favorite New Year's tradition of many is making New Year's Resolutions.
This tradition has been around for ages and has appeared in many different forms, though the base is still the same: promise of a good and bountiful year.
What is your New Year's Resolution?
Warning: be sure to keep your winter stuff handy, as a Canadian winter stays longer than we like and it is predicted that we are to have a cold January.
Starting a new semester can be challenging to some and a blessing to others. Get into good habits this semester so that you can make the most out of it.
May 2023 treat us well and be a year for memories!

Make a list of your assignments and their due dates. Set for yourself your own due dates and keep yourself acountable.
Everything is better with friends, start a new friendship with someone from your class and study together, collaborate in group projects and get the motivation flowing between you, you will get inspiration from them and now studying will not be the bad part of your day.
Set daily limits to the time you spend on your phone, you can do that in settings and prepare to be more productive with all the free time, read a book, go for a walk or reconnect with your friends

Jad is in his first year of Industrial Engineering at UofT
Some of his hobbies are: , writing poetry, rapping, reading, swimming and being a "part-time therapist" for his friends.
He recomends everybody to network, study ahead, sleep and eat a lot.
During winter break, Jad will build a new snowman, explore Toronto, and watch Avatar 2!!
One of his favourite quotes is "The pain of discipline hurts more than the pain of regret".
