LETTER from the EDITOR

For a moment there it was starting to look like spring but then the cold hit again.

We had a successful February. Leasing for fall 2023 opened and many of you responded if you were staying or leaving after the year. Thank you. we celebrated the day of love and got a visit from some furry pals. Many of you joined us to watch the Rihanna concert and some of you stayed for the football. We had a well-needed reading break to try and catch up in our classes and some who procrastinated. All in all it was a good month

Here we are entering into March. Can you believe it? Two more months left in this semester. Crazy! Be sure to take care of yourself and watch out for our upcoming events.

March 12 is daylight savings where we 'spring' forward, basically we lose an hour of sleep so we don't have to walk back from class in the dark. So don't forget to change your clocks!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick is a well-known saint and is considered the patron saint of Ireland. His feast day is celebrated on March 17th each year. Patrick was born in Britain in the late 4th century and was taken as a slave to Ireland at the age of 16. He spent six years in captivity before he escaped and returned to Britain. After his escape, he entered the church and later returned to Ireland to preach the Christian faith to the Irish people.

St. Patrick is credited with using the shamrock, a threeleaved plant, to explain the concept of the Holy Trinity to the Irish people. Its legacy has lived on for centuries, and he is still revered by people of Irish descent all over the world.

Today, St. Patrick's Day is celebrated in many countries with parades, festivals, and other festivities to honour the patron saint of Ireland.

SpringCleaningTips

Gather all your cleaning tools in a caddy

Whether it’s a caddy, bucket or tote, having everything you need to clean in one portable place makes it much easier to get the job done. You won’t waste time looking for tools.

Cleanthosecomfortersandpillows!

Your cozy bed is a major dust distributor. The bedding collects skin flakes, sheds its own fibers and sends out a puff of dust every time you roll over To minimize the fallout, washsheetsandpillowcasesregularly

Shineuppotsandpans

Soften burned-on residue by adding water and dish liquid to your cookware and letting it simmer on the stove. After it's cooled a bit, use a scrub sponge or pad toremoveanyremainingstuck-onbits.

Kitchens

Wipe down your cabinets. Go through your pantry and refrigerator Wipedowntheshelves, andthrowawayany old items If you have stainless steel appliances, be sure to use gentle cleaners or a steam cleaner to avoid scratchingorotherissues.

A disorganized home adds to your stress level. It signals to your brain that work isn’t done.

The scientific implications of inhaling dust, combined with the stress of coming back to a cluttered work space, can take a toll. Keeping a neat work space is more important than ever.
