TO-DO BEFORE MOVE-IN
In this welcome email, you have received your assigned room number, as well as your roommate’s name, if applicable. You can now make sure all the following steps are completed.
Schedule your move-in day and time, this is a necessary step to make sure move-in is smooth and enjoyable for everyone
If you haven’t already, make sure you have paid your September Meal Plan. This payment is due upon moving in and paying it in advance will make the process faster for you on the D-Day
Have your proof of insurance sent to us prior to move-in day. You need to respect all the criteria detailed in the Welcome email. We have attached the information of our preferred insurance partner: La Turquoise Please note that no one will be allowed to move-in without a proof of insurance
Read your Resident Handbook, it has all the information you need to ensure your stay at Campus1 MTL is pleasant It includes all the community guidelines to follow
Complete your move-in form. No one will be allowed to move-inuntilcompleted
Make sure you have answered all our previous emails If you still have corrections needed for your lease, this will make the move-in process longer for you
Stay connected with us by following us on social media to ensure you are up to date on anything happening in the building

WHAT TO EXPECT ON MOVE-IN
Move-in day is just around the corner, and to make sure you are ready, read the following information carefully.
On move-in day, make sure you get to Campus1 MTL, atthetimeselected.
For any move-ins outside of this schedule, please contact the office. Note that there is no guarantee to accommodate outside of the schedule available for bookings.
Ifyouarecomingbycar
Present your ID to the station in the driveway. Note that you will have 20 mins to unload your car in the G1 parking level. Bins will be available for 45-min bookings.
At this point, if there are no payment issues or documents missing, you will receive your keys, and Welcome Package.
Ifyouarenot comingbycar
Present your ID to the station at the lobby’s front desk. Bins will be available for 45-min bookings.
If any issues are faced, you will be redirected to our Office Desk to resolve them. To avoid this, pleasefollowourpre-move-ininstructions.
Make sure you return your bin in exchange of your ID within 45 mins.
Complete your Unit Condition Form. This form is necessary to ensure you receive the room in the best state possible. It is also your only guarantee of not being charged for pre-existing damages.

Subwoofers or amps
Kettle with auto shut-off
Coffeemaker with auto shut-off
Hairdryer and electric shavers/razors
Weapons of any kind Room Alteration Supplies (e.g., command hooks, wall-mounted mirrors, extra curtain rods)
Light strips and other wallmounted decors that may damage the paint in the room.
AFTER YOU HAVE MOVED-IN
Complete your Unit Condition Form – this is an important step of the move-in process as this is your chance to let us know if there were any damages to the room prior to your move-in. Ensure you inspect the room carefully as any damages that are not mentioned in your unit condition form will be assumed to be caused by you
Check the Welcome Week Schedule – Don’t miss out on any events or activities that are happening in your community, this is your chance to meet the people that live in your building!
Attend your First Floor Meeting – This meeting will allow you to meet the Community Assistants responsible for your floor who will go over some important community guidelines, emergency procedures, Welcome Week Events, and much more!
Ensure that all your garbage is placed in the garbage room on your floor located near Stairwell B. All garbage must be packed in a closed garbage bag and placed inside the black garbage bin. All boxes must be folded or cut to fit in the green recycling bin. If the bin is full and you must place your garbage outside the bin, ensure that it does not block any doors or elevators.

Exceptionallyformove-ins, oversized packages will be pre-placed in your rooms. This will be mentioned in the confirmation email. Any other packages must be claimed at the Front Desk.
