It is a day to celebrate the mathematical constant pi (π) and to eat lots of pie. Pi Day celebrates the mathematical constant π (3.14). It is celebrated in countries that follow the month/day (m/dd) date format, because the digits in the date, March 14 or 3/14, are the first three digits of π (3.14).

Spring Cleaning Tips Make a Plan! - Even if you aren't removing anything from your room, you can make it feel less cluttered by planning out where everything will go. Work top to bottom! - When you clean, you should start from the ceiling and work your way down to force debris downward. This way you won't have to re-dust any space. Don't forget walls and windows! - Remember that dust can settle on walls and windows also! Use a damp towel to wipe down walls and blinds. Open your window! - Opening your window every once in a while is a wonderful way to make your room feel less stuffy, and can be a great start to some productive spring cleaning. Don't let furniture get in your way! - Dust can settle behind and underneath furniture. Make sure to pull your furniture away from the walls and clean behind and underneath it!

Tips for getting a summer job Focus your search Sorting through all the possible industries, companies, and departments you could apply for can leave you confused. Narrow your search to a few industries, and within each of those, a handful of companies. This will make the entire search process less overwhelming and give you the time you need to research the companies you're applying to. Identify your strongest skills You can strengthen your application and gain visibility with recruiters by identifying your two or three strongest skills and explaining in your cover letter how you can put them to use at their firm. Recruiting managers sort through stacks of cover letters and resumes every day, so make yours stand out by explaining why you think they should hire you. Don't be afraid to ask Looking for a job when your resume is empty and not as much self-confidence can be a daunting experience. Students who end up finding a job are generally the ones who had the courage to ask. So, don't be afraid to ask. Develop a tolerance for rejection. It's tough to face rejection just as you're starting out. But get used to it, and don't take it personally. Job searches can be a hit-and-miss game and there will be a lot of misses early on. And that's okay, we've all been there before.
