Centennial College is reviewing our Sexual Violence Policy and Procedures and we want your feedback! A team of stakeholders from across Centennial College has come together to conduct a widespread review of the current Sexual Violence Policy and Procedures. Our goal is to develop policy revisions that centre around survivors of sexual violence, reflect available evidence, and utilize trauma-informed principles. The final policy will be completed by April 2023. As part of the review process, we are seeking feedback from Centennial College students. You can share your feedback with us by reviewing the Sexual Violence Policy and Procedures, and filling out a brief online feedback form. If you complete the online feedback form, you will have the chance to win 1 of 3 $50 electronic gift cards to Amazon or Indigo! Access the Sexual Violence Policy and Procedures and Feedback Form below Sexual Violence Policy

AFTER THE WINTER BREAK...
Planahead.
About a week or a few days before you are set to start classes again, try to go to bed and wake up a little earlier. Eat your meals at the same time you do when you are in college, and take time out each day to read a book or do some writing. That way, your body will adjust to your regular school schedule, so it is easier to get back into the swing of things when the time comes.
Set goals.
Before you start classes again, make a list of all the things you want to achieve for the semester. Maybe you want to obtain above average grades in all of your classes, or perhaps you want to spend more time at the gym. Be realistic, and try to set goals that are within your reach. Write this list on a piece of paper, and stick it on your mirror or bulletin board, so you have a daily reminder of your objectives.
Set a schedule.
Besides your regular class times, try to schedule in set study times, gym sessions, and extracurricular activities at set times every day. Plan your social life around your schedule, and try to stick to it, no matter how tempting the other options are. That way, you will be less likely to slip behind on the important things.
Form a study group.
Sometimes it is easier to get things done if you have other people to encourage and motivate you. Study groups are great because they allow you to socialize and study at the same time. Additionally, group members can help each other out with difficult problems or material.
