DAY 1 UNDERSTANDING YOUR WHY Is There Really a “Success Formula”? I believe we all have the ability to create a better life – not just for ourselves – but also for those we love. We just need to learn how. This isn’t to say that some people must overcome tremendous odds or hardships that many of us don’t have to deal with – nor am I saying that some of us don’t have burdens to bear that are out of our control. But over the years as a successful business leader who has made my fair share of mistakes – I have learned there are common traits or habits that successful people have that we can all learn from. Today, I’m going to share some of these secrets with you.
Personal Responsibility Even during our darkest moments, how we react to failure, or loss or difficulty is our choice. You may not always be able to control what happens to you – but you always control your attitude, and what actions you will take. Over the years, I have learned that the most successful people constantly step back from the situation they are in, and evaluate it from a distance to decide if they need to change or not. The most happy and successful people face the uncomfortable and make the changes they need to in order to create the life they want.
A Life With Purpose I believe we all have a reason that drives us. Many of us stumble through our days, playing catch-up. Rushing from one crisis to another, letting our lives crash over us like waves in the bay of fundy. But the most successful find their meaning – their reason. They take the time to understand what their strengths are and what they are here to do, and then they pursue their purpose with passion.
A Belief in What is Possible Cynicism is rampant in our society. We are often quick to say it cannot be done, or we fear failure so much we step back and watch as the world passes us by. The people I admire most have an optimism they continually honour and develop – a belief that what exists today is not what we are stuck with. Striving for more, and believing that more IS possible is the basis of all human achievement – from the Wright brothers, to Disney’s Snow White, to a Mom watching her daughter achieve that backflip she didn’t think she could do at cheer.
A Belief in Themselves All of us – at one time or another – are held back by insecurities, or negative self-talk or worries about what might not work out. But those who really achieve their goals in life believe that while they may not be successful right at this very moment, they have the ability to change it and improve. Having faith in yourself – the belief that you create your experiences is empowering. You will experience pain, you will struggle and you will not always score 100%. But knowing you have the power to change things is fundamentally freeing. You can do things differently, you change and recreate your life. You Can.
Goal Setting The most successful people set goals, and when they reach their goals, they celebrate it and almost instantly – they set a new goal to strive for. The joy in life is in the process – in the climb. People who have achieved more than they ever thought possible know this. Reaching your goal is never as rewarding as reaching FOR your goal. Our brains are goal-seeking organisms. Whatever goal we feed it, our subconscious will work day and night to achieve. It’s important to remember though – there is a world of difference between a goal and a wish. Everyone wishes for things, winning the lottery, a perfect figure, a long and healthy life. But a goal has a plan. It is measureable. And by necessity – it means you must be willing to change to achieve it. But isn’t this exciting? You can make your life what you want it to be! You can decide – through what you envision for yourself and your family, through taking control of your thoughts and your habits – and most importantly – through your actions one step at a time. But the first step is to understand your WHY.

After reading some of these, I want to know - what do YOU want? Because life won’t give it to you if you don’t even ask for it. So ask! No – demand it. And then plan for it! DAY 2 STARTING YOUR PLAN The RABBIT and the TORTOISE Sometimes it is really easy to feel overwhelmed and to think everything needs to be done perfectly and you need to know tons of people to get started.
Let’s look at two different types of people – someone who is naturally considered more of a sales person, and someone who is responsible and diligent. Who will be more successful? Type A: Th e H a re These people are social butterflies – they know everyone and they have the gift of gab. They can talk and talk and talk, and they attend tons of events and belong to lots of networking groups. They pass out their business card and tell people to sign up under them, but they rarely stop to find out the WHY of the people they speak to. They may know a lot of people – but they don’t know what those people need.
Type B: The Tortoise This person systematically works 60 minutes each and every each day. They follow their 30 Day Plan, they follow the Social Media Plan and build their facebook page with posts of recipes, tips, ideas for using Nutracelle without being pushy, they write down their potential team members, stay in touch, provide answers and encouragement and once a week they have short team meeting via conference call to help people reach their 3 for Free. They may not know a lot of people, but they know what motivates the people they so talk to. BUILDING YOUR TEAM (Recruiting) There’s two parts to building your team! In the first phase, there is the obvious that you are focused on right now - you need to recruit your first 3 people. But just as importantly, in your second phase you will need to Coach and Mentor your 3 people so they know how to recruit and coach their own 3 people. This will be an important step for you because you want the 3 people you recruit that make up your 3 for FREE to become long-term team members. (Don’t worry, your 30 Day Plan will show you just how easy and rewarding it is to do it!) Of course, once you have your 3 for FREE you will likely want to KEEP growing and earning more income so you can reach your other WHY’s and mentor and inspire your downline to reach theirs too. It’s so much MORE than just your 3 for FREE. Think of your 3 for Free as your foundation. It’s the leverage and base you need to have the freedom to grow and invest in your own future. Sharing Success When you approach building your team (and your 3 for FREE) as a servant. As the cheerleader, the mentor, the supporter and the shoulder to lean on for you team, you create the confidence that people need to reach for goals, for their WHY that they never dreamed they could really do. And it doesn’t matter whether they just want their Nutracelle each month so they can afford it (or so they don’t have to justify it to their husband), or if they want to enough money to pay for their daughter’s cheerleading, or if they have always wanted to build a business of their own. People need to know that someone believes in them. And that someone is YOU. Sharing is how you will be successful. Sharing is how you will reach your 3 for FREE the fastest. Sharing your recipes, sharing your successes, sharing your product – these are the true steps to success. The irony is, if you are concentrating on recruiting people for your own gain, you will need to work FAR HARDER to reach your goals, than if you are focused on paying it forward and helping your people reach their 3 for FREE.

Who Do You Know? Who do you know? You might be thinking, “I don’t know very many people.” That’s OK!!! It’s not who you know today.
It’s who you are going to meet and get to know on this exciting journey. People often think, I need to know everyone today who will sign up! I won’t reach my 3 for Free if I don’t have a big family, a ton of coworkers, an extended social network already. I’ve never done direct sales, I’ve never done any sales! I’m kind of shy, I don’t think quick on my feet, I don’t have that many people on my Facebook account, and my biggest fear is that someone will just say NO to me. How many of us – as a child, or as a teenager, or even as adult – how many of us have been so excited about something – so excited that you wanted to share it with the world! And someone you looked up to said, “That’s stupid. That won’t work”. You aren’t alone. I’ve been there too. I remember the sting of the tears as someone unwittingly crushed my dream. They meant well and they certainly weren’t trying to tear me down. They were good people who though they were protecting me. But they couldn’t see what I saw, and I let them take away my power. I’m going to repeat that for you – because I think it’s important. I let them take away my power. Even though I still had the power and the choice to follow my dream, I let the fear of their disapproval – make my choice. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. It sounds corny, but it’s so true. Did you know that studies have shown that students who write down their biggest fears before a big exam, and then write down what they have done to prepare, score much higher on their exams than the students who worked just as hard but didn’t face their fears. “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, I have lived through this. I can take the next thing that comes along. You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” Eleanor Roosevelt’s words have comforted me, given me guidance and have carried me through my darkest nights. Your job is to score them according to how great a fit they could be for your team. So if this was the start of your list, you would begin out by reaching out to Amanda, Jolene and Jim first. You are always going to start with the people who have the MOST points on your list. Even if that’s just ONE person. Why? Because they are most likely to be receptive to your message. And you are building your foundation right now. There is no need to reach for the clouds and try to convince people who aren’t yet interested to join you. Your first mission is to pick the low-hanging fruit – the people who will be most ready to take the next step. Example: You have an acquaintance that you know could benefit from Nutracelle. Her name is Rachel. She used to use Ideal Protein and lost a lot of weight (1 Point for PROTEIN) and she has regained her weight and would really benefit from Nutracelle (1 Point for HEALTH). However, she is always saying how successful she is and she looks down on people who do part time work or are in direct sales (0 Points FINANCIAL). On top of that, although she is your acquaintance through your husband’s car club, she is not easy to talk to and is often very critical of others (0 Points CONTACT). Rachel would only have 2 points with your lead scoring, so you would not approach her about Nutracelle first, even though you know she could benefit. Rachel is the type of person who might become interested once she sees other’s do well, so there may be a time in the future when her lead score increases and you would want to reach out to her. But she is not the right fit for your 3 for FREE Foundation Team.
Remember: confidence breeds confidence. And after you reach your 3 for FREE, you are going to help mentor your team to reach out to their highest leadscore too. This is a system, and system’s are powerful because once you learn them, they are repeatable and they work.

Find out from them what is motivating them right now – do you know they have a mortgage payment they are struggling with? Why Should I Be Using Scripts? Some people think using a script makes you ‘fake’ – or worse – sound automated. No one wants to act or sound like a robot! But sales scripts can also create safety and give you the opportunity to think things through from the point of view of the person you are speaking with. A good script can force you to really think things through. Your Elevator Pitch Remember the most common mistake we make is not saying the wrong thing – it’s focusing on the wrong direction. When we talk about OURSELVES, and launch into a detailed explanation of why Nutracelle is amazing, or the interesting facts and science related to all our products (and they ARE great so it’s easy to get carried away!). We sometimes find ourselves saying, “Well, I’m a Success Consultant and we launched our product to increase fullness and burn fat and.. on and on…” And trust me – I’ve made this mistake many times more than I care to count. When you are focused on what you do, you leave people with no real understanding of what you do and most importantly what you can do for them and how you can help them reach the WHY in their own lives. If you’re like me, and trust me – I have made this mistake many times – you can pretty much predict how others will respond. They stare blankly (like a deer in headlights), take your business card, make some polite excuse and then wander off. The real crime is that they leave with no real understanding of what you do and, more importantly, what you can DO FOR THEM.
A Good Elevator Pitch: Focuses on THEM (not you) Communicates clearly what you can do for THEM (results, benefits, experiences, feelings) Shows what you help them AVOID (Pain, problems, costs, etc.) Focuses on WHY (they should use Nutracelle and join) over WHAT (what’s involved, the details, the logistics, etc)

DAY 4 Get Your Samples Ready Call & Connect
DAY 4 GE T PERSONAL You will need to get as close to face to face as possible. Phone? Instant messaging? It’s MUCH easier to show people when you are looking them in the eye. And you need to SHARE your personal Nutracelle products. Not a sample from Corporate Headquarters, but a personal baggie of protein with 2 or 3 scoops in it, or a small package of home made protein macaroons, or protein balls. But most importantly, people trust and believe what comes from YOU personally. Not a faceless company or a new brand they aren’t familiar with. People want to know it’s something YOU use and YOU believe in. And they need to see it’s REAL. Consultants ask all the time. “When is Nutracelle coming out with sample packs?”. Remember, the people you talk to will appreciate you sharing your own product more than they will trust a sample pack from corporate office. People don’t realize how delicious Nutracelle’s products really are, and they usually have NO idea you can easily cook with it. And they won’t believe it if you just tell them.

Research has shown that in psychology there is a social rule called reciprocity. It’s a fundamental belief across all cultures that says we should repay, in kind, what another person has provided us. When you SHARE your own product, or better yet, cook something for someone – even if it’s simple – they will feel a need to reciprocate. Why? Because people feel obligated when you share your own product with them. It’s not just a sample. It’s a favour now. It’s PERSONAL. They will be much more likely to say yes, and research has proven this over and over.
CALL & CONNECT Now it’s time to start calling the TOP 3-10 people on your list who scored the highest. You will use your scripts Above and set up a time to give them the samples.

How to make the PERFECT Sample STEP 1 : Ideally a sample is one scoop per sample. Make sure when you are speaking to someone about samples that they know it is from your own personal stash.

SHARE YOUR SAMPLES Now it’s time to drop off your samples. Be friendly and excited – and if you have brochures about Nutracelle and your card, make sure to include them. When you drop them off, try not to sell Nutracelle – instead tell them how excited you are for them to taste it and how much you know they will LOVE it! You will follow up with them the next day to see how they loved it and to sign them up. Of course, if they want to sign up right away – make sure you help walk them through it!
BOOK A PARTY
Ask people to either come to a Tasting Party YOU host, or ask them to host a party so they can try the products and earn hostess benefits! Use your Tasting Party Guide! The Basic Tasting Party is incredibly important to your business. Remember to keep it simple Share your favourite products, focus on 4 or more Parties per month and add 1 or more new Team members to your Team each month.
What are your Customers thinking about? They’ve heard about Nutracelle or they’re interested in losing or maintaining weight and staying on track and want to learn more, so they book a Party. Or, they’re tired of using unhealthy foods and want easy meal solutions that will help them stay full and reduce their cravings. They may also say that they don’t have time to cook or they don’t know how. Why not invite them to book a Party and show them how they can save time and money by eating more protein, more fiber and how they can easily prepare healthy meals and snacks for their families!?

THE FORTUNE IS IN THE FOLLOW UP Once you know they are interested, itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s best to help them sign up over the phone â&#x20AC;&#x201C; even if they are just going to your site to use their credit card. What? I have a replicated website with my name on it? Why on earth would I want to talk her/him through it over the phone?

It sets up a time to commit and to close the deal and you are able to confirm that they signed up. People are great procrastinators, and they often mean to sign up and they intend to do it, but life can get in the way. Make sure you help them get it done! It helps you answer any questions they may have that could prevent them from signing up. Everything from how Autoship works, to if and how they can cancel. This helps them feel good about their decision.

As a Nutracelle Success Consultant, you must strive to be seen using the product, sharing our recipes and our tips. You must “cheat with a protein treat’ and use Nutracelle to crowd out the unhealthy food choices in your own life. You must BE a product of our products. I can’t stress this enough. You can’t be out there telling people to sign up while you are skipping your protein and eating donuts! When you earn your 3 for FREE, you should right away upgrade to the Ultimate Package if you haven’t started out there. Why? Because you will be using your product as samples for growing your business (Bonus benefit: this makes it a tax write off, check with an accountant!)
BECOME A TESTIMONIAL OF THE PRODUCT: If your weight loss testimonial, health testimonial is not impressive enough yet… use someone else’s…– the testimonial stories should fit their level of interest. HOW TO START THE CONVERSATION Always start with a genuine compliment!
This is so critical. A sincere compliment (and it must be sincere) opens the door to real conversations and puts people into a frame of mind to be more open to hearing what you have to say. Here are some sample compliment scripts you can use: • “You’ve been so successful and I’ve always respected the way you’ve done business/run your day care/been a parent/ coach etc.” • “You’ve always been so supportive of me and I appreciate that so much.” • “You’re one of the most connected people I know and I’ve always admired that about you.” • “You’re the most (or one of the most) important person/people in my life and I really trust your judgement.” • “You have an amazing mind for business/work/common sense/etc and can see things other people don’t see.” • “I was thinking… who is one of the smartest people I know? And right away I thought of you.” • “You’re one of the most positive and energetic people I’ve ever met.” • “I think you are so smart, and I’d love to get your opinion.” For negative and cynical people, another compliment that works well is, “I’ve started a business and really need someone to help me poke holes in it. Nothing gets past you. Would you be willing to examine it for me?” The key to the compliment is it must be sincere. Find something you can compliment them on and do it.
Make the Invitation
You will need to actually INVITE people to join your team. Here are some scripts to help you reach out. • “When you told me you were sick of your current protein supplements (or weight gain, or cravings etc) and you need to do something different, were you serious about it? (Wait for answer). Great! I think I’ve found a way for you to get an awesome protein and get it for free.” • “When you told me you were sick of your current job (or needing extra money, or a new car, etc) and you need to do something different, were you serious about it? (Wait for answer). Great! I think I’ve found a way for you to earn extra income and make that happen.” • “Are you still looking for a job (or a different job?). I’ve found a way for both of us to start a great business without all the risks.”

Example of Person Who Is Skeptical & Doesn’t Like Selling Meet Cynthia.
Cynthia is single, in her 40s, she struggles with her weight and would like to get healthier. Cynthia owns her own home, but lives alone. She just found out her deck has rotted out underneath and it needs to be replaced, but it’s going to cost about $6,000 and she’s helping out her elderly mother right now with her medication costs, so money is tighter than usual. Cynthia doesn’t have extra cash lying around to start taking the protein she needs to get healthier, and she needs to scrimp and save to try to replace her deck this spring. She’s stressed about it. You are really excited about Nutracelle and you KNOW that Cynthia would benefit from the products and you know that she could use the extra income. But you also know that Cynthia likely wouldn’t be interested in selling anything or starting her own business. And you know that she tends to be sceptical of anything new and doesn’t like change.
SCENARIO 1: You are really excited about Nutracelle, so you call her and start telling her all about how amazing it tastes, and how it’s ultra-micronized, and how the prebiotics change your gut flora and help burn off 228% more fat! You tell her how FULL you feel on it and how you have lost 2 lbs already in the last two weeks without ever feeling hungry Right away, her defenses go up, and she tells you it sounds great, but she won’t tell you she is suspicious you are going to try to sell her on it. She asks you how much is it? You try to tell her about the 3 for FREE, but she doesn’t believe she knows three people, she hates selling, and besides, she is busy and she definitely doesn’t have another $200 a month to spend on anything when she has to fix her deck and help out her mother. She nods politely as you talk, but she’s already decided NO. Even though it is really what she needs – she is not open to hearing about it.
SCENARIO 2 : You’ve done your homework, you have your scripts, you know Cynthia would benefit and you know she would likely make a great member of your team. You know you don’t want to be pushy and you don’t want her to say NO without understanding how it can really benefit her. You want her to get as excited about Nutracelle as you are.
How do you take that first step and reach out to her? #1 you share. You use the power of reciprocity. You send her a Baggie of your Coffee Nutralean and some homemade macaroons or protein balls. You show her how incredible it tastes and explain how the whey protein and the prebiotic fiber will take away her cravings, and reduce her calories and burn more fat without even trying. And then you let her enjoy it. THEN you don’t talk about you or Nutracelle, or how awesome it is. Instead, You find out her WHY. You ask her how her boot camp she went to last month worked out? Is she still doing it? Then, you ask her how things are going with helping out her parents, she starts to tell you how stressed she is and then tells you about her deck. You ask her how much it’s going to cost, and she tells you it’s $6000 she doesn’t have right now. You sympathize with her and you listen. But you NEVER ask her to sign up. Instead you make it all about HER.
YOU FOLLOW UP ! You don’t have to convince her Nutracelle will work for her. If she feels full, she already knows it works. How did she like it? Wasn’t it smooth? Amazing? And then you ask her how full it made her feel. Instead of asking her if she’s like to earn the product for free, you SHARE how excited you are that you will be earning your 3 for FREE too! When you share that the protein balls and the coffee shake she LOVED is going to be FREE for YOU this month, and each month after that you will be earning your products for FREE plus earning commission, what do you think she is going to feel? How interested do you think she will be in finding out how it works? Will Cynthia feel like you are trying to sell her an expensive product she can’t afford right now? Or perhaps she will feel curious that this might be the solution to her weight loss she wants AND a way to pay for the deck.
Ask her about her WHY now, how are things going with her parents? Did she get a another quote on the deck she needs? And then say, Did you know one of Nutracelle’s consultants earned $2600 her first month? You’d be able to pay for your deck this year! And you don’t ever have to sell anything! Ask her if she has unused protein sitting in her cupboard that tastes awful. Find out if she has time to go shopping for protein or the money to waste on protein that is full of sugar, chemicals, fillers, or tastes gross and will sit unused in her cupboard. Share how you got your own website and how the people in your office saw you lose weight, you simply shared your site with them when they asked about it. And how there is no inventory, shipping or anything to worry about doing
Then share the 3 for FREE plan. What’s more affordable than free? Either way she is winning! She can be reaching her own WHY with Nutracelle. Whether her WHY is losing 10 lbs, not having to find a decent protein, the convenience of home delivery, or if it’s even earning her product free or earning enough to build a deck. You are reaching YOUR GOALS by helping her reach HERS. She’s tasted how amazing it is, You’ve shared some baking with it. She just needed to see it tastes amazing and see how full it makes her feel. She doesn’t need convincing - Cynthia knows her own WHY. Your job is just to connect HER why with Nutracelle. The follow up is to confirm this with her and get her signed up so she can get her own site and get started.
Example of Someone who Doesn’t Follow the 30 Day Plan and Wants to Quit Meet Cathy! Cathy signs up for Nutracelle and is hoping to get her 3 for FREE. She believes that people she works with, will sign up under her right away and she is surprised when her attempts to tell her co-workers about how amazing Nutracelle is falls on flat ears. She has made the mistake of thinking she KNOWS what is best for them, instead of asking questions to find out their WHY. Instead of sharing her protein and bringing some macaroons or protein cookies to try, she becomes discouraged that they haven’t all joined up. The cost of the supplements starts to weigh on her mind, her hours were cut and she isn’t sure she can afford the cost each month, and now she doesn’t believe she can reach her 3 for FREE. She is discouraged and is starting to feel negative about it. She calls you to complain about the cost of her supplements, saying they are too expensive. You don’t stop to ask yourself – What is she REALLY asking, instead you show her the Comparison Chart and you show her how it’s more cost-effective AND better quality than the competitions – but she is NOT open to listening – she continues to insist that the cheaper product with less protein and fillers and sugars is good enough for her. But her real objection – her real problem – is not how amazing Nutracelle is, or even if Nutracelle is the best deal for her. Her problem is that she doesn’t want to admit she can’t afford the cost and wants to save face, and she doesn’t want to admit that no one is signing up under her so she is making excuses. The easiest excuse is always a problem with the product, or the plan or the economy, or weather – it’s never what could I do differently. And that’s ok – that’s your job as her Success Consultant. If you take the easiest route, and take her excuses at face value and try to answer the questions she is asking you, Cathy will simply dismiss your answers (because they aren’t her REAL problem, they are just the excuses!) and she will cancel her autoship and you won’t hear from her again. What a shame! It doesn’t have to be this way! If you stop, and ask yourself WHY is Cathy asking me this? She knows the cost difference between our protein and the other ones! She knows that the 3 for FREE is certainly more affordable than paying for a cheap suboptimal protein – so what is REALLY going on?
Once you start ASKING her questions to get to the heart of the matter, you will find out what her real concern is: 1. Did you feel full using Nutracelle? Did you like the taste? You are asking this because you need to eliminate a legitimate reason for not using the products. If someone genuinely doesn’t like it or they have an allergy, then the best solution is to cancel their autoship and thank them for trying! BUT 99% will say they love it and it tastes amazing and yes, they felt full. Their answer will tell you that you should put in the effort to keep them on your team.
2. Are you having trouble getting people signed up for your 3 for FREE? This will get right to heart of the matter. If she is, she will tell you. And of course it won’t be her fault! And you don’t want to make her feel badly. She just isn’t following the 30 Day Plan and she needs the help to feel confident that she CAN and it WILL work for her! So, how do you do this? (b) (c) (d)
Ask LOTS of questions about what she has done to get her 3 for FREE (use this guide as an example). Reassure her and find out her “WHY”. What motivates her? What does she really want? Set a Goal with her and set a Time-Limit. Ask for her commitment to follow the plan for 30 Days to get her 3 for FREE before she cancels.
Ask for their Commitment for 30 Days: “You can do this and I can show you how! Give it 30 Days and follow the 30 Day Plan – I will be here to help you each step! Take this next month, and let’s work together to reach your 3 for FREE, so you can get your Nutracelle for free and start earning some commission! How does that sound?” Cathy is relieved – she doesn’t feel the pressure is all on her to do this. She feels supported and she can see how taking 30 days to really try it - is the simplest solution to her problem. After all – she knows she will benefit from using Nutracelle. Why is it so important to set a time limit? Because she knows that at the end of the 30 days, if she has tried and was not able to sign up her 3 people, you have agreed that she should cancel her autoship guilt-free. She tried her best and she can move forward knowing this. The reality is though, if she even gets 2 people signed up, she will likely want to keep going, and even if she doesn’t – as her Success Consultant, the 2 people who signed up under her will move directly under you if she quits. Either way it’s win-win for everyone when people are given the opportunity to try!
