The CSHA The Canadian Sport Horse is the ultimate ‘made in Canada’ equine athlete, competing in dressage, jumper, eventing and hunter disciplines, locally, nationally and internationally. Canadian Sport Horses are ridden by some of the top names in the equestrian world, including show jumpers Hugh Graham, Amy Millar and Yann Candele, eventers Rebecca Howard and Selena O’Hanlon and dressage riders Susanne Dutt-Roth and Esther Mortimer. As well as at the high performance ranks, you’ll find Canadian Sport Horses carrying their amateur riders to the winner’s circle at all levels of equestrian sport. Some of the most prestigious performance horse stables in Canada, including King Ridge Stables, Lothlorien Farm, Millar Brooke and Zeidler Farm proudly breed Canadian Sport Horses. Some notable Canadian Sport Horses include: King Ridge’s grand prix jumpers Executive Privilege 3E and Distant Star 3E; 2011 Pan Am Canadian eventing team mount Foxwood High; up-and-coming jumpers Fine Time M, bred by Millar Brooke Farm and Ann Mathews, and the Zeidler Farm’s Lavender ZF and India Blue ZF. Canadian Sport Horses competing internationally include Riddle Master (2010 World Equestrian Games, eventing); Foxwood High (2011 Pan Am Games, eventing); and Viva’s Veroveraar (2011 Pan Am, dressage). These horses are F1, or first generation Canadian Sport Horses, while F0 (foundation) horses continue to be important to Canadian Sport Horse breeding, such as Olympic gold medal show jumper stallion Hickstead and international grand prix dressage stallion, Lingh. Hickstead and Lingh are Platinum premium stallions; Platinum is the highest performance approval rating for the Canadian Sport Horse Association. We also recognize the importance of mares to a performance breeding program. King Ridge Stables, Lothlorien Farm and the Zeidler Farm are breeders who exclusively use a small number of proven top performance mares in their breeding programs. About the Canadian Sport Horse Association The Canadian Sport Horse is Canada’s oldest indigenous sport horse breed. Established in 1926, the CSHA is incorporated under the Animal Pedigree Act and is the official registry of sport horses in Canada. The CSHA is also a member of the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses and breed member affiliate of Equine Canada. As an Evolving Breed, the CSHA allows breeders the flexibility to plan breeding programs based on genetics and market trends, while having the credibility of registering their horses with an internationally respected studbook. The Canadian Sport Horse Association had the first open studbook in North America to include European warmbloods in its pedigrees. Our Evolving Breed status is an extremely advantageous brand position for the international marketing of Canadian-bred horses. If you are looking to purchase a progressively bred performance horse that incorporates the very best of North American and European performance bloodlines, a Canadian Sport Horse is the clear choice.

The CSHA and its membership are part of the equine and agriculture communities in Canada with a goal to ensure a viable future for members by providing assistance and developing programs to ensure that future domestically and internationally. Our mandate is to promote the awareness of Canadian Sport Horses, to keep records, organize inspections and to provide information and assist breeders with trustworthy registration in keeping with respected International standards. Mare & Stallion Inspections The Canadian Sport Horse Association has been inspecting horses for breed improvement since its incorporation in 1933. All horses intended for breeding purposes must be inspected and to be approved, must meet the required criteria for sport horse type. Sight unseen approvals may be given for mares and stallions based on their approval with their stud book or origin or on their high performance accomplishments as well as pedigree, such as Olympic Gold Medalist Eric Lamaze’s Hickstead. Internationally performing stallions and mares help CSHA to incorporate high performance athletes into the breeding population.

Stallion Approval Process The stallion approval process is two-fold. Phase I -Stallions two years of age or older are presented at an inspection and evaluated on conformation, movement, free jumping and suitability to produce a sport horse type. Phase II – the performance component must be completed by the end of their six year old year or for older stallions, one year following their inspection. Stallions can earn performance premiums, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum in their sport discipline. A minimum of Bronze level is required to complete Phase II and earn full breeding approval. Performance Premiums have been updated for 2012 – Silver denoting proficiency at the National level, Gold at the international level and Platinum – the outstanding equine athlete at the highest level. Sight Unseen Approval Sight Unseen Approval is available for stallions that have full breeding approval with an acceptable Studbook. Approval with the other studbook must be based on conformation inspection and performance testing. Restricted Sight Unseen Approval Restricted Sight Unseen Approval is an option for mare owners with foals to register, that are by stallions that are not approved with the CSHA but do meet the criteria for Sight Unseen approval. The mare owner, rather than the stallion owner is responsible to provide all the required documentation. An additional service fee is payable by the mare owner for each foal identified under this process. Please check with the National Office for requirements for Sight Unseen and/or Restricted Sight Unseen Approvals.

member of the Dutch A-Team, Lingh won extensive Grand Prixs at CDIs across Europe under Edward Gal. His career highlight was his breathtaking win of the Grand Prix Silver Medal at the 2005 World Cup in Las Vegas. His rise to success in the international arena impressed the KWPN licensing committee and they awarded Lingh his lifetime breeding license. Under current owner and amateur rider Karin Offield, Lingh made an impressive presence throughout the United States. Lingh’s elegant exterior, his lengthy, uphill neck and beautifully angled shoulder emphasize his extreme, natural shoulder freedom. He bears a good croup and correct, straight legs. Lingh comes from the famous KWPN dressage stallion, Flemmingh, sire of Anky van Grunsven’s Krack C. Lingh’s dam, Gazelle, was awarded highest honours by the KWPN: Ster, Preferent, Prestatie. At the 2009 KWPN Stallion Licensing, Lingh’s son, Beau, was the Reserve Champion Dressage Stallion. Lingh’s pedigree, gorgeous type, conformation, and fine gaits make him a great candidate for any dressage or hunter/jumper program. arrington comes from a sound well-bred family. Farrington is one of the few Dutch stallions with the famous dressage stallion Doruto in his blood. Doruto sired many top dressage horses: Olympic Barbria, Chevalier, Ideaal, etc. Sire, Wellington is well known as a producer of quality movement in his offspring, siring dressage horses like Bollvorms, Ceylon and Luxaflex. Farrington was awarded the ‘Keur Predicate by the KWPN in 2002. This is prestigious for a stallion, indicating a producer of great performance horses. Due to a leg fracture, Farrington was not able to perform in the sport, which is a pity because of the great talent he possesses. During his Stallion Test he received: 8 for basic gaits, 9 for temperament. His daughter, Perry, became Dutch Reserve-Champion of 3 year old mares. Theandra became Dutch Reserve Champion of ‘Keur/Elite’ mares. Farrington’s offspring perform very well in the sport, resulting in his high index. Many of them are already performing at Grand Prix, such as Limited Edition. Daughters Uloma MG, 2007 KWPN-NA #1 Elite National mare; Zoe Florence, 2007 Netherlands #4 National Star mare; Zen Rosa, 2008 #2 KWPN-NA Elite mare. Farrington sires horses with an incredible willing character, powerful hind end and strong, excellent gaits. orn in France, Frenchman was competing successfully when injury curtailed his career. In 2002 he returned to competition in Canada with outstanding results, winning several jumper division championships, a Triple Crown title and is a serious competitor in the eventing world. He has inherited his father’s enormous scope and rideability. Frenchman scores 9’s in his dressage and is careful and brave to his fences. He is short coupled with an amazing work ethic, and incredible temperament. Frenchman’s sire is one of the current show jumping greats (63 Int. GP wins) and produces outstanding international performers (most recently WEG and Olympics). Diamont du Semilly is just one of Frenchman’s relatives as well as being twice European show jumping champion. Frenchman’s dam is an Alme daughter (the sire of all sires) whose blood line needs no introduction. Frenchman completed a CIC**. He also won the leading female rider award with Ruth in ‘08 and ‘09. He has been successfully campaigning across eventing and jumper. His foals are phenomenal, gaining his athleticism and fabulous “big dog” temperament and competitive themselves in the ring in all 3 Olympic disciplines. Frenchman is a light and easy ride and crosses well with most mares. This is one of the best bred stallions in NA. heirattack is a beautiful, regal Grand Prix stallion blessed with a world class temperament. e consider Viva Voltaire, sire of several International dressage horses, Hunter Champions and Young Horse Jumper Champions, our best kept secret. Viva typically produces beautiful, flashy foals, with excellent movement, lots of jump and the most wonderful temperament. We have found our Viva offspring to be extremely marketable. Three horses (born 2001) from Viva’s first crop of foals are training at GP level in dressage. Viva was the only stallion that had two offspring compete at the 2011 Pan Am Games in dressage. Viva’s Salieri, ridden by Tom Dvorak, placed fourth individually and won the Silver medal with Team Canada. Viva Veroveraar had the best score for Guatemala. Vivaldi, Viva Las Vegas, Viva’s Hit and Viva’s Primus claimed numerous Hunter Championships in the US. ‘Otherwise’ was the Ontario Ultimate Hunter Challenge Champion in 2007 and 2009. Several ‘Viva’s’ have won young horse jumper classes both in Canada and the US. Viva Voltaire offers his outstanding temperament, movement, versatility and athleticism to your breeding program. Please visit our website to fully appreciate his qualities.

ryden (originally named Basje) is an approved Belgian warmblood stallion. He was purchased in the spring of 2008 by Susan and Ariel Grange, following his win in the 7 year old Belgian championships in Lummen. At this time, Dryden was moved to Canada and has had numerous successes throughout North America with Ian Millar as his rider, including his first place finish in the Ottawa Grand Prix. Dryden is a very elegant and athletic horse, with a wonderful temperament, which is what you would expect from a horse descended from some of the most influential sires in show jumping today: Utrillo Van de Heffnick, Clinton, Heartbreaker, Ramiro, Furioso and Alme. Dryden has many offspring in Europe. They are lovely looking horses and are competing successfully as young jumpers.

Kupido has competed in Spain, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, England and Germany. He has won 6 CSI*** and CSI**** Grand Prixs. His sire, Grannus, is considered a legend in breeding history. His performance as a sport horse and breeding sire earned him the title “Stallion of the Century” and “King of Sires”. It is impossible to list all of his successful progeny. But, Ratina Z, his daughter, won 2 Olympic gold medals (1992 and 1996) and the World Cup of 1993, must be mentioned. iberty was purchased after his Stallion Licensing and German Hanoverian Verband approval in Verden by Tina Konyot, noted FEI rider and 2010 World Equestrian Games US individual and team competitor. Exclusively trained and competed by Tina, Liberty at age 7, won his very first Prix St. Georges competition on the competitive FL Dressage Circuit with the excellent score of 70.58%! His competition record includes many significant wins at Prix St. Georges and Grand Prix level at major shows. His sire, the legendary Lauries Crusador, made history in 2006 by being the only Thoroughbred to be named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. Liberty’s dam line contains many famous sport horse producing sires. His dam sire Gimpel, has been respectfully described as “Hard as Iron”. He competed in dressage and jumping and is noted for producing versatile offspring. Great grandsire, Don Carlos was one of the most successful sires of Hanoverian jumping horses after World War II. Liberty brings strong dressage bloodlines combined with a modern type to North American breeders. His first foals are already showing his athleticism, elegance and expressive movement. opeye has a proven track record in the show ring and the breeding ring, winning at all of the major horse shows in the USA consistently for the last 6 years starting in 2002. He is by the great show jumper Voltaire. Voltaire has produced some of the nation’s best hunters, including Popeye K. At the Atlanta Olympic Games, Voltaire was the stallion with the most offspring competing. Popeye produces offspring of good character that are very sound with a great walk, good trot and a great canter. They are very careful jumpers with a lot of scope. Popeye’s dam, Eloretta is by L Ronald who produced over 100 top mares, and has proven to be an excellent mare sire. Some of these mares are mothers of the great stallions Libero, Lord Incipit, and Larno. Popeye also passes on the traits of his grandfather G. Ramiro Z. Ramiro was the top stallion of his performance year excelling at the puissance jumping over 2.20m and competing internationally in many Nations Cups and Grand Prixs. Ramiro posesses Thoroughbred blood top and bottom to produce tall elegant offspring with the top line of a Thoroughbred. Eloretta’s dam, Sanremo is by the great stallion Farn who has been one of the most influential stallions in Dutch breeding, producing most notably the great stallion Nimmerdor who was named stallion of the century.

ortland L is already well known throughout Europe as a successful show jumper as well as a superior sire. He was bred by the legendary Fritz Ligges (Olympic Gold Medallist), who also owned and competed with Ramiro. Portland L was licensed as a two year old in Muenster, Germany. He received the highest possible score of 10 - 2x by his Test Riders in the Jumping Category at the 100-Day Testing. At the ages of 5 and 6, Portland L won jumping classes of the 1.20m to 1.35m Level, therefore qualifying for the German Federal Championships. In 2002, as a 7 year old, Portland L gained to his resumé an unbelievable record of 17 wins and placings out of 18 starts at the M and S level (1.35m to 1.50m). In his first season of competition under the German Champion Marco Kutscher, (Olympic Medallist in Athens, 2004) he went on to win several S Class (highest level) jumping tournaments of National and International niveau. These extraordinary results came as no surprise, for Portland L is a product of two sires of the century, Pilot and Ramiro. Portland L’s own crop of offspring in Europe have received a reputation of high competency in the sport, ex. ‘Pirol’, 6th at the FEI World Championships Young Jumpers Lanaken. One of Portland L’s first offspring born in Canada, ‘Phyline’ won the 4 yr. old Western Canadian Young Jumper Horse Championship in 2010. nyx is an elegant and refined stallion with a kind and willing work ethic. In 2011 he continued to turn heads as he competed in the combined hunters, becoming champion every time but once (when he was reserve champion). His first foray in the Hunter Derby ring in Blainville proved that this is his special niche. His willingness, light scope and courage rendered a victory over his competitors, many of whom were much more experienced. In the inaugural Finals of the Canadian Derby series, at the Royal Winter Fair, Onyx won his class against horses from across Canada. As predicted, he shines in this exciting new discipline which is gaining energy and respect around the North American continent. Onyx’s dam, Grand Design, was imported from Germany and had a very successful show career in the hunter ring. His sire, Orame, was, as a three-year-old, champion of the KWPN Stallion Show and Champion of the Stallion test. Orame was a sensation in the International 6 bar competitions in Europe, jumping up to 2m10. Onyx has produced some very elegant offspring from a variety of mares, stamping his foals with his beautiful topline and exquisite head. He has a perfect set of x-rays.

teeped in Luck is the first and only purebred Irish Draught in the world to be long-listed to a national dressage team. He was placed on Equine Canada’s High Performance long-list for dressage with his rider/trainer, Tom Dvorak. Steeped in Luck made his Canadian Sport Horse competitive debut at the 2011 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair where he placed 2nd in the stallion class - a remarkable feat for a horse true to Irish Draught breed standard with 10 inches of bone. The judge described him as a “powerhouse”. He holds the honour of being the first, and currently only, Irish Draught stallion in the world to be recognized as a Class 1 stallion with a GOLD merit in dressage by Horse Sport Ireland. This honour required a combination of conformation and performance as well as clean radiographs as a mature advanced level performance stallion. At home in the stable, he is a kind, easy going stallion with a tremendous work ethic. Steeped in Luck - unique, sound, sane, competitive. acorde continues to prove that he has the athletic ability, the heart and desire to be a top level jumper, continuing his impressive career in 2011 with his debut in the international ring at Spruce Meadows. He competed up to the 1.50m level with many impressive rounds, including a double clear in the Atco Midstreams cup as well as many top 5 placings on the local Grand Prix circuit. Tacorde finished the year off at indoor Spruce Meadows where in the first week he competed in two Grand Prix’s and finished 2nd and 3rd respectively and then in week two competed in the puissance and became second, clearing 1.80m with ease. Tacorde has proven that he has the ability to be a top international horse and he is producing exceptional offspring as well that excel as jumpers. They inherit his innate jumping ability, his incredible temperament and his wonderful work ethic. They are substantial with excellent hind ends and his incredible canter. He crosses very well with blood type mares that are bred to jump. His mature offspring are moderately sized, they are substantial but not too big, and yes, he has put chrome on every one of them! Due to Tacorde’s busy show schedule he is occasionally only available via excellent quality frozen semen. DL Ulando H represents the very best of Holstein and Dutch Warmblood breeding, with no less than 8 International Grand Prix jumpers in the first 3 generations of his pedigree. Ulando was the 2004 Ontario Stallion Licensing Champion and Vice-Champion of the Stallion Performance Test. He placed 3rd at the prestigious Lt. Governor’s Cup at the 2004 RAWF, and was Grand Champion of the Hanoverian Free Jumping Competition. VDL Ulando began his career with the Jumper Development Series. In 2008 he began his eventing career with owner Ruth Armstrong, competing successfully in Ontario and Florida. Having schooled him through intermediate cross-country and show-jumping up to 1.45m, Ruth realized he had the power, scope and heart to compete at the top of the sport, and handed the ride over to Karl Slezak in 2011. Current success has him long listed and has proven that he has it all. Scope to burn, gaits to die for, and a fast light gallop that has him aimed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, UK. His offspring are proving exceptional with lofty movement, athleticism, correctness of gaits and inherit his tractability and genuine desire to please. Winning the Hanoverian free jumping, Top Canadian Warmblood Young Event horse; many other accolades. We anticipate their move into the spotlight alongside VDL Ulando H! aplehurst Farm proudly offers North American breeders one of the most influential Hanoverian bloodlines in performance horse breeding today. Ambrooke Lad (aka Junior) is out of PS Gilde, who is by the legendary dressage stallion Grundstein. This GLine is renown as the most important and famous producer of international performance horses in the world, both in dressage and jumping. In 2008, Ambrooke Lad started his career in Ocala, Fla. Always brave and willing, he placed in the large Training Hunter classes and the Baby Green. He was easy to manage and pleasant to handle. He was a consistent ribbon winner in the Pre Green all season, placing at Pépinière, St. Lazare, International Bromont week 1 and week 2, as well as the Kubota National and National Capital Open GOLD Events. A good mover, he won his Pre Green Under saddle class in July at the International Bromont week 2. The Ottawa Kubota National Capital Tournament Hunter Derby saw everything from the bank, to the grob, to hunter and jumper style fences in the imposing grass Grand Prix field. Junior, in his first year of competition, proved he had tremendous heart, by trucking around like an old pro. ustique is an approved KWPN stallion. He was purchased by Susan Grange and Stal Hendrix, as a 3 year old, in 2009, after winning the Reserve Championship at the KWPN Stallion Show. At the 2010 and 2011 KWPN Stallion Show he was the overall Champion. Bustique qualified for the 5 year old Dutch Championships in 2011, being ridden by Michel Hendrix. In a 2009 Dutch magazine “In de Steige”, there was a quote stating, “(Bustique) has great moves and a very good jumping technique with much power, one of the best jumpers of the approval”. Bustique is from a line of Grand Prix winners, and a full brother to “Mustique” a Grand Prix jumper who represented Canada on numerous occasions and who had multiple wins at the Grand Prix level. Bustique is all that you would expect from a horse descended from some of the most influential modern day sires: Grannus, Indoctro, Zeus and Argentinus. He has a wonderful temperament and is a lovely looking horse and a true athlete as well as a proven producer, with offspring that are beautiful models, great movers and extremely good jumpers. onnegan possesses a unique combination of traits that is truly rare. Donnegan’s sire, Don Frederico, was Stallion of the Year in 2006, producing the top-seller at the 2010 Hanoverian Elite Auction, fetching $320,000 euros. Donnegan lives up to his legacy and has proven himself to be an extraordinary talent in his own right. random was the only Elite Hanoverian Grannus son in the U.S. He is fully licensed and approved for breeding by VhW, AHS, ISR/Oldenburg NA, BWP, CWHBA & CSHA. Grandom is by the legendary sire Grannus, producer of many successful GP horses and out of a very strong multiple GP and stallion producing dam line. Grandom was licensed and stood several years in Belgium before moving to Hanover. He was approved for breeding based on performance and was shown and bred at the same time while in Belgium. He was Modified Division Champion at Santa Rosa, Modified Division Res. Champion at Rancho Murieta, Winner Carousel Medal and Res. Almaden Medal at Rancho Murieta. Grandom’s offspring are very uniform, even though they were out of a large variety of mares. They have beautiful front ends, nice round top lines, excellent shoulder angles and very good usage of the hind end with wonderful temperaments. His offspring have been sold internationally. Grandom sired the stallion, Granny Smith, who qualified for the Bundeschampionat as a 5 yr. old with some very good scores entering 6th out of 155. He was selected for the prestigious PSI auction in ‘04 where he sold for $90,000. Grandom has been very successfully bred with both TB mares as well as Warmblood mares. uidam Blue is a young licensed and approved Hanoverian stallion. As a 3 year old, he completed the 70-day performance test in Warendorf, Germany. Throughout the test he impressed with his calm character, pleasant mind and work attitude. He scored well in the rideability and excelled in the jumping phase. He finished with a combined index of 107.8, finishing 4th overall in the jumping category. Quidam Blue’s pedigree is filled with famous French, Holsteiner and Westfalen jumping bloodlines. His grandsire, Quidam de Revel and his maternal grandsire, Come On, were both successful international show jumpers. His sire, Quidam’s Rubin was only granted a short career. His positive attitude to work and his extravagant movement make him an absolute joy to ride. Being a bay with white face and 4 white socks makes him quite a looker as well. Royal T was the first offspring of Royal Senna to be approved for breeding. He received Premium stallion at the CWHBA inspection with a score of 82.5%. upert’s sire is the Grand Prix show jumper ‘Rio Grande’, ridden by Eric Lamaze, who selected him as a two-year old prospect based on his freejumping technique. 2008 was a successful year for his offspring, with ‘River of Dreams’ winning the McCallum Futurity trophy, and both 3-year old’s winning ribbons in the Lieutenant Governor General’s Cup Class at the Royal. Rupert has fabulous movement, tremendous scope and a lovely temperament. These high sought after characteristics are embodied by his foals as they all have eye-catching movement, lots of chrome and athletic aptitude, combined with easygoing personalities. Rupert was shown by his owner in the amateur divisions, competing successfully in 4 disciplines: Hunter, Jumper, Eventing and Dressage. Highlights include: 2006 Qualifying for the Preliminary level Eventing year-end Championships, High Score Award 2004 National Dressage Show: 73.077%, ‘A’ Circuit Handy Hunter Challenge score: 85.5%. An excellent cross for Thoroughbred mares, Rupert’s offspring are very flashy, correct movers, showing the same versatility and aptitude for all disciplines-although particularly marketable as hunter prospects. ir Wanabi is modern type Hanoverian that has shown an ability to pass on his pretty head and elegant style to his offspring. Sir Wanabi has proven himself to be incredibly level-headed, and early indications are that he passes that trait on to his offspring. At his 100-Day-Test, he was awarded 10 for character and a 9 for temperament. Sir Wanabi has powerful, elastic gaits that make him equally suitable for either the hunter, jumper or dressage ring. In September, 2008, Sir Wanabi was shown very successfully at Dressage at Devon, winning both the Six-Year-Old Dressage Suitability and Four-Year-Old and older Stallions also Under Saddle (85%) classes. He was also named Stallion Champion of the Great American/USDF East Coast DSHB Series Final with a score of 80.45%. For the last 3 years, Sir Wanabi has been competing in the Adult Amateur Hunter division with his owner. He was awarded champion or reserve champion at most of the shows he entered, winning most of the hack classes. Also, in 2010 and 2011, Sir Wanabi won at the Royal Winter Fair in the CSH stallion class. t three, Tagaelen won the Governor General’s Cup and Grand Champion Canadian Sport Horse at the prestigious Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. At four, he won his first horse trials in the Pre-training division and placed fourth at his next event in the Training division. In 2006, he won the first annual Eastern Ontario free-jumping competition under two judges where comments from Bob Henselwood included, ‘it is nice to finally see a conformation champion actually able to perform.’ He scored 35.5 out of a possible 40 on conformation, form and scope, winning his division and Grand Champion of the day. During a 2007 clinic, Walter Zettl remarked, “what a beauty, look at the movement! If I were to build a horse for myself, this would be it”. Tagaelen completed his performance requirements in the jumper ring, in eventing and also with the completion of a stallion performance test. He has an exceptional temperament and consistently passes this on to his foals, along with his lofty and powerful movement. He is a versatile stallion that will compliment any type of mare, whether it be for eventing, dressage or the hunter/jumper ring. Tagaelen is currently approved with CSHA, ATA, CWHBA, and the Canadian Trakehner Horse Society. almé is a modern type stallion who shows excellent use of the hind leg and nice flat front end for the hunters. In 2009, Talmé focused on the Adult Amateur hunters where he received several top ribbons, showing that he is just as competitive in the hunters as the 1.30m jumpers. Talmé’s offspring are very consistent in type with beautiful heads and necks, strong backs and loin connection, with Talmé’s inquisitive nature. He also adds overall height and length of leg. He is producing both hunter and dressage movement with excellent use of the hind leg and always with super balanced canters, and all are bay. Talmé’s sire, Wellington, earned his Keur predikaat by siring many Ster and Keur mares and approved stallions like Emilion, Farrington and Glennridge. Talmé’s dam, Valmé Kerrelec Prest is by the legendary H. Almé Z who has been on the top of the jumping index for many years, along with Nimmerdor, Wellington’s sire. Valmé Kerrelec is very closely related to the phenomenal jumping stallion ‘I Love You’.

empranillo is the complete package of super movement, great jumping ability and excellent conformation. He has proven to be a true all-round stallion with top placings up to 1.40m and before that having great success in the young horse dressage ring. In 2011 he was ridden by an amateur rider competing at many of the biggest tournaments in the West with great success, placing in the top 5 up to 1.30m including a reserve Champion Jr/Am jumper at Thunderbird in July. Tempranillo has more than proven himself to be an Amateur’s dream ride with huge scope and great rideability and always super confident even when a mistake is made. Tempranillo’s foals are proving to be just like their father, very self-assured and loving of attention. He adds length of leg and over-all scope to his offspring with more suspension in the gaits and incredible jumping ability. One of his oldest offspring, B’quick has been ridden by an amateur throughout the entire year and after starting his show career in May, was by August jumping 1.0m courses and finished the year by becoming champion 5-year old at Carousel Ridge’s young horse jumper show with an impressive score of 94%. They are also very good movers with a lot of upper level dressage potential with their great balanced canter and super, pushing trots. his stallion has it all: size, substance, good paces, excellent jumping ability and a real puppy dog temperament. Whether you are breeding for colour or not, this stallion has a lot to offer. He scored 76% in an FEI young horse dressage test and shows tremendous scope and for over a fence with a fabulous front end technique. His offspring, about 75% of whom are coloured, are trainable, easy going and very big. His paces are all very correct, but he has an especially well balanced and uphill canter. He makes a fabulous cross on lighter warmblood or TB mares. His pedigree includes Marco Polo, the grandsire of the great Milton, and Gottward, a prolific jumper sire. Stanhopes Diddicoy is possibly the world’s most prolific and talented tobiano sports horse producer, being a Prix St. Georges dressage horse and an international jumper and eventer himself, and who passes on a great deal of this talent to his offspring. Diddicoy has been popular with breeders in the U.S. for a long time, and this horse is every bit as good as his grandsire. Oldest offspring are now 5 years of age. hree Cups Point and Fire is an imported British Sport Horse and brings some old European bloodlines not previously available to the North American breeder. He is a versatile stallion, achieving scores of over 70% in his FEI young dressage horse tests, as a five year old he won the Canadian Young Horse Jumper Development Championship and is now winning and placing in both Canada and the U.S. at the 1.30m level. He has huge heart and is totally forgiving of any rider mistakes coming to, or over a fence. He has an unbelievably quiet temperament, and quite happily combines his live cover breeding season with a full show season. He was Manitoba Jumper of the Year 2010. His oldest offspring are now 4 years old and have inherited his correct conformation, his excellent rideability, a very easy and laid back temperament and his ability over a fence. He is producing amateur friendly horses with enough talent for the professional.

eno is an elegant long-legged stallion with excellent conformation and superb athletic ability. As a four-year-old, he was named Dressage Material horse Champion and is now mainly focusing on the jumper ring. Both top level dressage riders and jumper riders have commented that he has the ability to go to the top of their chosen discipline; he is truly a multi-talented young stallion. In 2011 he competed both indoors placings many times up to 1.20m including a 2nd place at Spruce Meadows in the Mini Prix and several other top 5 placings at local shows in Alberta. Zeno’s first foals are just 3-year olds in 2011, and he is showing to consistently stamp his offspring. He is improving the top-line, making the back and hind end connections stronger; as well they all have their father’s great shoulder and big, powerful hind end with very good legs. His offspring are proving to be excellent movers, adding suspension to the gaits and super nice, rhythmical canters and they free jump in great form just like their sire; and from all accounts have their father’s wonderful temperament and kind demeanour. aribbean is a young, Canadian born stallion with exceptional breeding quality and show jumping potential. He easily shows tremendous scope, style and natural ability over fences, and his work ethic is outstanding with a quiet and generous mind. His bloodlines are leading the way to compliment much of the mare herd in North America. He is bred classically with a modern type while still maintaining balanced blood and rideability. His offspring should compliment mares well, adding a marketable mind and athletic ability. His sire, Cardento, is an Elite stallion who has won several Grand Prix’s in International Show Jumping with Swedish Team rider, Peter Eriksson, including three Silver Medals at the European Championships, World Equestrian Games and the Athens Olympic Games.
