about the company theatre Allan Hawco and Philip Riccio founded The Company Theatre in 2005. Our work focuses on our inherent curiosity about and respect for the instincts and behaviours that define what it means to be human. We work with the highest calibre of performers to fully embrace these instincts on stage, allowing the story to unfold differently every time we tell it. In this way, our performers and audience members share a truly “live” experience – sometimes challenging, often hard-hitting, but always intriguing, and always enlightening. Our past productions include A Whistle in the Dark (2005, 2007), Marion Bridge (2007), Festen (2008), Through The Leaves (2010), The Test (2011), Speaking In Tongues (2012, 2013), Belleville (2014), and The Seagull (2015). Our ensemble members include Eric Peterson, Sonja Smits, Jonathan Goad, Christine Horne, Nicholas Campbell, Helene Joy, Aaron Poole, and Rosemary Dunsmore. STAFF
