This Jason’s Cradle® range is specifically devised for the leisure boat market. It‘s design promotes speedy recovery of people from the water in the all important horizontal position, the modern marine world’s recommended and recognised method for the retrieval of a MOB (Man Over Board) survivor. To use as a boarding ladder simply follow steps 1 to 6 as described in the MOB deployment instructions (overleaf) and then simply hook the white webbing strop around the two end nuts as shown below. Adjust the webbing strop as required to suit your vessel.

The Marlin and Stingray cradles can be fixed easily to a RIB by utilising a pair of ‘D’ Ring patches (Sold Separately) glued to the sponson/collar of the RIB (See overleaf). Alternatively the cradle can be secured using already existing fixing points on the boat. However, if fixing at deck level to then deploy over the sponson/collar, then care must be taken that there is sufficient length of the cradle over the side. This will depend on the diameter of the sponson and the freeboard at the rescue zone.
