512 Greenwich Street 2016-2018 7-Story Private Residence Area: 4460 SF Location: Manhattan, New York Archi-Tectonics LLC.
The project is based on a 100-year old building. The whole idea here is implicit and dubious. We renovate the building and inject vitality but also, we are trying to blur the boundry of time. Ancient bricks are kept, brushed, and become the background of modern appliance; old joists are clearned, reused, and integrated to be apart of brand new decoration; historical structures are well protected, reinforced, and support the
