CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL An unmissable event and the leading European in-water exhibition, the Cannes Yachting Festival will take place from 11 to 16 September 2018, in Cannes just as it does every year, in the heart of the French Riviera. For six days, the stars of international yachting, presented by the crown jewel of the nautical industry, rival each in their luxury, style and elegance, echoing the glamour of their superlative host city! A major meeting point, the Cannes Yachting Festival is renowned for the eclecticism of the boats presented there, every year welcoming nearly 600 motor and sailing units, monohulls and multihulls alike from 2 to 60 m, of which more than 100 are presented for the first time in the world. A major asset of the Cannes Yachting Festival, sea trials offer the opportunity for future owners to take the helm of the exhibited yachts and test them in the bay of Cannes before making their purchase a reality. If the floating spaces are occupied by the jewels of the seas, the quays of the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto bring together the biggest names in terms of equipment and services, as well as the show's prestigious partners. The Cannes Yachting Festival also gives pride of place to luxury brands, both renowned and more exclusive alike, by giving them the spotlight in a dedicated and resolutely premium space: the Luxury Gallery. Luxury, craft and lifestyle brands are hurrying, in this unique setting, to come and showcase their expertise to a new, select clientèle that is passionate about exceptional objects and services with high added value. The 50,000 visitors, coming from all five continents, walk the aisles of the show every year, letting themselves be seduced by the latest innovations and the ultimate in yachts and luxury. The Luxury Gallery is located inside the Palais des Festivals. Thanks to its elegant, uniform and upscale setting, it is a real showcase for the products on display. An area that must be crossed after the main entrance of the show on the Croisette side, the Luxury Gallery benefits from a high flow of visitors. Exhibitors have the opportunity to meet an international upscale clientèle, a preferential target audience for exceptional products that is sensitive to beautiful objects. Located on the roof of the Palais des Festivals, the VIP Club has magnificent views over the event. A place for relaxing and socialising, it is also a meeting place for business. It is reserved for Riviera and VIP card holders* and Luxury Gallery exhibitors. This club consists of 380m² of space divided between an outdoor terrace and a tented area. It shares the same opening hours as the main event**. THE PANORAMIC RESTAURANT The Panoramic Restaurant, located on the roof of the Palais des Festivals, is a high-end catering area that is open to all visitors and exhibitors. It offers a unique view of the prestigious yachts being exhibited in the Vieux Port, the famous Suquet old quarter and the bay of Cannes. This area consists of a 220 m² indoor space and a 150m² terrace shaded under a parasol. It is open* from 11 am until 4 pm for lunch and tea (reservations can be made with the concierge service). This exceptional parade is an opportunity to discover a show of vintage and modern small (cabinless) motor boats of less than 12m in length accompanied by their splendid crews, and to pay tribute to the rich history of sailing boats in the heart of the French Riviera. The parade takes place in front of visitors, journalists, professionals, enthusiasts and a jury of experts and amateurs. The jury takes into account: the design and restoration of the boat, its rarity and history, the elegance of the crew and the quality of the parade. After the parade, participants, partners and journalists are invited to the awards ceremony, during which the winners receive gifts offered by the event partners.
