Schedule of Events

Cannon Events was formed in 2017 with a plan to create the market leading, London based conference for the global marine insurance community. Starting with Marine Insurance London 2018, we quickly added regionally based international conferences in the largest marine insurance hubs.
In 2019, we expanded into the energy insurance market launching Energy Insurance London, followed by Energy Insurance Americas in 2022 focusing on Renewables, Oil & Gas and Power.
The latest addition to our portfolio, Cargo Insurance London, launches in 2024 and will separate cargo from Marine Insurance London to create an independent cargo conference in London that will focus on all aspects of cargo transportation.
Cannon Events also publishes a quarterly publication called the Marine Insurer. What initially started out as a bi-annual print publication soon evolved into digital format in 2020 and each issue, now produced quarterly, has an average readership of some 2000 marine professionals globally.
Working closely with industry associations and advisory boards made up of senior market representatives from each region, we strive to ensure that our content covers the most pressing issues facing each geographic area. As a global business, marine insurance markets are intrinsically linked and each one of our conference agendas, webinars and journals are painstakingly researched to incorporate regionally specific experts on the most relevant subject matter.
We work with brokers and insurers through our Global Partnership offering. This is available to organisations that see value in participating in multiple conferences. The ability to offer your colleagues a platform to learn and network whilst also providing significant brand visibility and business development opportunities cannot be understated. Our offering is simple, we provide partner branding at all events, unlimited physical delegate places across our portfolio (excluding Marine Claims International), recordings of conference sessions to share internally after the events, advertising or editorial in all editions of the Marine Insurer, access to advisory boards and first option on speaking opportunities at our conferences.

10 November 2023 OSLO
The Nordic marine sector has been a long-term success story, with insurers and clubs developing a global reach. We had felt for some time that as our portfolio developed, the Nordics were an important region that required its own event and as such, Marine Insurance Nordics was born.
The inaugural Marine Insurance Nordics event was held virtually in 2021 and was a resounding success. Thanks to our relationships with our regional and global partners, the inaugural physical event in 2022 was also hugely successful and has seen a record number of companies register their interest in the conference for 2023. We have great traction with the shipowner community in this region and have moved the event to a much bigger venue to accommodate the expected increase in attendees.

Ample networking breaks are also provided where delegates can meet with our exhibitors and learn about the latest products and technologies on offer.
