INNOVATION EDUCATION

EXPERTISE

It is all within reach at World ATM Congress 2016!

Leadership, Change, and Implementation Aviation is a dynamic, complex, and challenging industry. It generates over 58 million jobs and $2.4 trillion in economic activity as well as many other benefits to society. Air traffic management (ATM) provides the connectivity that enables airlines and airports to serve as the most visible parts of a complex aviation industry. ATM already harnesses some amazing technology in its efforts to improve its performance while maintaining safety as its number one priority. It does so despite governance structures that inhibit regional cooperation; traffic flows based on the operational requirements of airspace users; and the need for stable long‑term planning and investments. As the pace of technological advancement accelerates as well as changes in its very nature, how well is the ATM industry implementing what is available in a way that builds for today yet facilitates transformation for the future? The Conference of World ATM Congress 2016 examines the joint industry leadership challenges that face air navigation service providers, airlines, and airports; takes a fresh look at the changes being created with remote towers; reviews the impact of new entrants into the airspace; and predicts what we will actually achieve in the next five years as the springboard to the future.
