12:30 – 13:30 CANSO ATFM Data Exchange Network for the Americas Air traffic flow management (ATFM) is an enabler of air traffic management efficiency and effectiveness. This session will focus on the recently established CANSO ATFM Data Exchange Network for the Americas (CADENA), and its role in defining and implementing regional ATFM capabilities. The session will review the effectiveness of existing and planned ATFM systems in the Latin America and Caribbean region; make specific recommendations regarding ATFM; and identify an appropriate mechanism for the ongoing review of such systems. The CANSO Standard of Excellence in Air Navigation Services - Safety (SEANS-Safety) is an approach to assess and demonstrate the safety management system (SMS) maturity levels of air navigation service providers (ANSPs). SEANS-Safety will provide CANSO Members with an impartial, standardised means of assuring and demonstrating ANSP safety management capabilities both internally and externally to regulators and ICAO. This SEANS-Safety workshop will provide training for assessing and evaluating the SMS maturity levels of ANSPs and recommended steps for reaching the next level. This workshop will review the advances and benefits of the eight agreed routes that will harmonise an efficient PBN route structure; and begin the implementation process of the second phase of the project.
