With more than 1,800 members, our Chamber is dedicated to advancing the economic growth of Canton, Stark County, and beyond. Since 1914, we have been committed to business and community development, focusing on economic, community, and workforce development efforts, legislative advocacy, membership education, networking opportunities, and regional-minded collaboration. Through our partnerships, programming, services, and events, we empower our members and drive economic prosperity in our region. LEADERSHIP STARK COUNTY
Leadership Stark County is in its 37th year and uses a range of leadership development programs to build a community of engaged leaders committed to positively impacting our region. Our programs include the 10-month Signature Program for emerging and established leaders, the Spotlight for Young Professionals program, the Encounter Stark County tour, non-profit board member training and placement, custom training including Gallup strengths-based leadership development and the Youth Leadership Academy for sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school.
YSTARK!
Now in its 17th year, ystark! works to attract, retain, and engage vibrant, energetic, and diverse young professionals (YPs) in Stark County by collaborating with individuals, businesses, and community organizations. The effort is dedicated to engaging and empowering YPs through networking, professional development, social and cultural events, and civic involvement. These efforts will help to root YPs in the community, and therefore, retain them as productive citizens, while continuously promoting Stark County as a desirable location for YPs to live, work and play.
