On the cutting-edge of emerging technology, these businesses make capital investments to our area, dedicate resources to the community and help make our region more appealing for business growth and relocation. The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for Stark County businesses. Help us recognize these leading companies by nominating them for the preeminent business award in our area for the following categories: Business Excellence Award salutes companies that have distinguished themselves with longevity, growth, innovation, and consistent involvement in the community. Business of the Year honors a single winner that has experienced growth in sales, employees or overall operations in the last full calendar year. (continued on page 15)

Light Up Downtown Promises Downtown Family Fun on Dec. 5! The whole family will be enchanted as you take a magical journey with Christopher Pop-In-Kins, Santa’s Official Children’s Elf, when he pops in again this year during Light Up Downtown on the main stage on Market Square (301 Market Ave. N). Light Up Downtown, presented by the Canton Development Partnership, a department of the Canton Regional Chamber, returns for another year of downtown family fun. Light Up is your chance to watch 16 city blocks come alive with attractions, entertainment, refreshments and fun for children of all ages. The excitement is happening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in downtown Canton. Main Stage Show & Fireworks! This year’s Light Up will feature Christopher Pop-In-Kins, every child’s favorite elf, in a very special musical main stage show that will light up the skies and light up your spirits with community musical acts, fantastic fireworks and a ho, ho, ho-liday visit from the man in red. You’re in for a night of surprises and fun for all ages! Best of all? This festive festival is FREE! (continued on page two)
