103rd ANNUAL DINNER SET FOR FEB. 20 Johnson Controls Chairman and CEO Alex Molinaroli to Speak The Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Johnson Controls Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alex Molinaroli as the guest speaker at the Chamber’s 103rd Annual Dinner on Monday, Feb. 20 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center (1101 Market Ave. N, Canton). In November 2016, Hall of Fame Village LLC (a partnership between the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Industrial Realty Group) and Johnson Controls, a global diversified technology and multi industrial leader serving customers in more than 150 countries, entered into a historic 18-year agreement to create the first sports and entertainment “smart city” that will carry the name Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village. The $600 million project will
create more than 13,000 new jobs; and over a 25-year period, Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village will generate $15.3 billion in cumulative net new total economic output within Stark County. Molinaroli will provide insight into why Johnson Controls chose to invest in Hall of Fame Village, describe what the first-ever stateof-the-art sports and entertainment “smart city” will entail, and how their investment in the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village may benefit the local business community and larger region. “The commitment of Johnson Controls to the Hall of Fame Village represents a positive, (continued on next page)
