TIME TO COMPLETE: 0-1 HOUR

DESIGNED BY: MARIE JOHANSSON

Project Description: Do you love walking around flea markets and garage sales? At Tattered Angels, these are our favorite places to find objects, old and new, that are in need of a little love. This tutorial shows an easy way to spruce up those old photo frmaes that you find at a flea market, or are just laying around the house.

materials: 1. Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist “Gold” 2. Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam “Icicle” 3. Tattered Angels High Impact Metallic “Light Gold” 4. Tattered Angels DIY Paint 5. Gesso

tools: 1. Flea Market Frame 2. Brushes 3. Heater (optional)

STEPS:

1.

Prep a photo frame with gesso or white paint. Apply a layer of Tattered Angels DIY paint. In most circumstances, only 1 coat is necessary.

2. 3.

When semi dry, spray glimmer mist across the entire frame to add shimmer.

4.

Leave to completely dry and then add a thin layer of Glimmer Glaze to finish it off.

After drying (use a heater if you are in a hurry) apply High Impact paint where suitable. On this frame, the HIP was added to highlight the relief pattern, allowing the paint to soak in the crevices.
