Project Description: Create your own journal using black and white line art f rom the Tattered Tangles Paper Collection. Paint in the lines using any of our paints such as Mists, Glimmer Glaze, High Impact or Glimmer Glam. It doesn’t get any more personalized than this!

materials: 1. Tattered Tangles 12 x 12 Paper 2. Tattered Angels Mist (any colors) 3. Canvas Corp Waxed Leather Cord 4. (10) paper insterts

tools: 1. Embroidery Needle 2. Paper Awl

STEPS: the paper inserts to measure 8.5 inches high. Fold the stack of paper inserts. If creating 1. Cut a mixed media journal, we recommend using Canvas Corp 12 x 12 White 80# Cardstock. the 12 x 12 Tattered Tangles cardstock to measure 8.5 inches high. Leave the width as 2. Cut is. Fold it in half. the folded sheets inside the cover. Mark 6 dots and, using the awl, pierce holes in all 3. Place the layers. 4. Using a saddle stitch, sew the notebook together (instructions on back).

STEPS:

Cut the leather cord to two lengths of the notebook (approx. 17�). Leave a 2� tail.

Start inside the notebook on one end and make a simple running stitch passing through the holes.

7.

When you reach the end, continue the running stitch backwards to meet the tail.

8.

When finished stitching, the thread will come outside to the cover side. Make a loop and knot it.

9.

Push the needle back inside through the same hole you just came out of.
