Selert to lead Packer supervisors by Jim Vincent
For the first time in 30 years, White Haven Borough has an elected constable. Daryn Mingus was sworn in by District Justice Ferris Webby at the White Haven Council reorganization meeting on January 6.

At Packer Township Supervisors’ reorganization and regular meeting, held January 3. Bob Selert was elected chairman. Susie Gerhard took the oath of office for a six-year term as a supervisor, and was elected vice-chairman. Supervisor Terry Davis was elected roadmaster. Stephanie Stolpe was appointed secretary-treasurer and open records officer. Barbara Genetti was appointed as a member of the township zoning hearing board, and Gerry Grega as an alternate.
