Dream at Big Boulder

Sunday, June 18th, at 2 p.m., the PA Shakespeare Festival will present a FREE performance of William Shakespeare’s much-loved comedy A Midsummers Night’s Dream, at Big Boulder Ski Area in Lake Harmony. The play will be outdoors in front of the main lodge at Big Boulder. There is lawn seating (bring a blanket), or better, bring a lawn chair. In the event of rain, the performance will be inside the lodge.

23 y/o from Pocono Lake, had drugs in his car, and is suspected to be under the influence of drugs. He faces fleeing and eluding, drugs/ DUI, and over 80 summary traffic violations.

At 12:24 a.m. on 5-26, PSP-F made a traffic stop on a vehicle with an expired registration, and found a possible drugged driver, along with drugs and paraphernalia. He was taken to the Monroe County DUI Center and submitted to a blood draw. Charges are pending the results.

Keeping the rubber side down 5-31, 1 p.m., a 33 y/o Wilkes-Barre area driver hit a deer with his Prius while driving Interstate 80 east

The event is free. Donations collected will be supporting local emergency services, and the PA Shakespeare Festival’s youth program.

PSP is looking for a white Jeep with recent crash damage for an incident off Old Stage Road just before Route 903 in Albrightsville where a vehicle went off the road and crashed into a fence on 5-22, and then drove away.
