Copper This shiny mineral has been a glint in the eye since 8000 BC. With so many practical uses, its workability, conductivity, durability, anti-bacterial properties and recyclability, it’s no wonder this iconic material is used in so many areas of modern life – the beauty and splendour of its colour has been adopted in the hair industry too. Using various hues and shades of copper to create striking, powerful looks - this one will never become extinct! Classic Blonde We’re always striving for the perfect blonde - but what is the perfect blonde? Well, for the blonde of the moment think classic, old school glamour. Not too platinum, not too ash, and never yellow; look to create a softer, more delicate colour that compliments skin tone. Blonde that is pretty and timeless, where the colourist uses placement of the hair to frame the face. Walnut The spectrum of colour between blonde and brunette is, to the trained eye, a medium to dark blonde; and to the untrained, a light brown. In contrast to a deep brunette, a medium blonde that echoes the colour of a walnut shell which lifts and lightens to give a multidimensional presence. This delicate colour used in combination with a peekaboo balayage placement technique gives an edgy, exciting, contemporary look.

The top sections of hair were coloured with NXT Mildly Oxidising Semi 6-77 80 grams + 160 grams of Mildly Oxidising Releaser, then was processed for 20 minutes. 5) The colour was rinsed prior to taking out the foils, and then shampooed using iQ Shampoo and Conditioner.

Blonde Natural Base: Level 7-0 NXT Products Used: • Pro-Tech Bleach +6% • Mildly Oxidising Semi 9-01 and 9-02 with 1.5% Suggested Styling Product from iQ: • Styling Spray Technique: 1) The hair was sectioned off in to 4 for ease of working. 2) Starting with back sections, back-to-back foil and back combing from the root was undertaken, to maintain a natural root and some dimension in the hair. Using Pro-Tech Bleach and 6%. The foil was folded to protect the natural roots from the bleach product. Starting at the back means that these foils can be safely and easily removed when ready without disturbing the other hair.
3) A face frame section was applied diagonally around the front hair line using micro waves to create diffusion and blend. 4) The back comb, back to back lights are continued at the front sections remixing the Pro-Tech Bleach regularly. 5) All sections were lifted to a level 9, foils removed and the hair shampooed and conditioned using iQ Silverising Shampoo and Mask to pre-tone the hair. 6) NXT Mildly Oxidising Semi 9-01 30 grams + 9-02 15 grams + 90 grams of NXT Mildly Oxidising Semi Releaser applied to towel dried hair as a toner.
