EXCHANGE TRAVEL Occupancy of Property Trading Places reservations must be booked by the member(s) named on the HOA member agreement, and the names of the individual(s) checking-in to the exchange resort must match.
Guest Travel Guest Travel certificates are available to assign the exchange usage to another person. If you’d like a friend or family member to be able to travel using your Trading Places deposit, you can do so by calling an exchange representative. There is a small fee of $49 for using a guest certificate.
Checking-In Be sure to bring your confirmation with you to the resort when you check in. If you cannot check in during the resort’s normal check in hours, you must contact them at least 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to the property. If you plan to arrive after your scheduled arrival date, you must contact the resort directly at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation and forfeiture of related Trading Places currency. Resorts have specific rules that must be complied with and can be furnished by the resort in advance. Resort terms are usually displayed when booking your exchange travel. Resorts are generally non-smoking and do not allow pets. Additional resort fees may be charged upon check in. They are usually displayed in the resort info on the Trading Places website but it is recommended that travelers contact the resort to confirm.
