Stock levels remain low, sitting around 5,000 in comparison to 12 months earlier where it was hovering in the early 4,000s. This ongoing supply and demand imbalance has contributed to the significant price growth seen in so many suburbs across the Perth metropolitan area.

PERTH’S RENTAL MARKET REMAINS HOT
Perth’s rental market continues to surge, with demand showing no signs of slowing. Recent data reveals that Perth is now the second most expensive city to rent in Australia, trailing only Sydney.
Despite expectations, we have seen the market remain incredibly active, driven by strong numbers of tenants and increasing demand for quality rental properties.
From January 12 to February 12, our team received 140 applications, with a staggering 2,012 rental enquiries recorded. During this period, we held 37 home opens, drawing in 874 prospective tenants. These numbers demonstrate the intense level of interest in Perth’s rental market.
Our home opens continue to attract large crowds and properties are receiving a high volume of enquiries, with multiple applications submitted for each listing.
