Our Capabilities for Various Antibody Reformatting Antibody variable regions of heavy chain (VH) and light chain (VL) from a specific antibody can be reformatted into a diversity of fragments including Fab, F(ab)’2, scFv, VHH, minibodies, and also BsAbs combined with a second specificity. Various antibody formats are optimized for tumor or tissue penetration, or expression in production systems. Here are our current available antibody reformatting choices.

Fab can benefit from the absence of FcR receptor mediated effector functions;

Can be easily expressed in non-mammalian expression systems.

Retain the bivalent binding of an IgG;

Fab has good characterized penetration properties into tissues and faster clearance from circulation;
