Tumor-associated antigen (TAA) refers to antigen molecules present on tumor cells or normal cells, including embryonic proteins, glycoprotein antigens, squamous cell antigens, etc., which have been widely used for treating a number of tumors. In the past few years, many attempts have been made to developing various tumor drugs based on identified TAAs. The results have suggested that TAAs discovery for cancer therapy, novel systems for TAAs characterization, as well as the strategies to deliver the antigens, play important roles in developing therapeutic drugs for human cancers. https://www.creative-biolabs.com/drug-discovery/therapeutics/tumor-associated-antigen-taa-discovery.htm
