In this activtiy, they were able to converge the active cacao farmers/growers in the municipality with the assistance of the Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation thru its Community Relations (COMREL) Department under the company’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP). Cacao doctors, entrepreneur cacao
growers, representatives from the Provincial and Municipal Agriculture Office, and members of the Provincial Cacao Council were present during the oneday activity. It was concluded with the actual cacao farm visitation owned by some of the participants. The activity symbolizes the start of the cacao industry as it slowly shapes into one of Claver’s high valued crops through the help of various sectors.
