Further, TESDA has provided scholarship applications, skills demonstration, community-based and enterprise-based trainings, as well as distribution of toolkits and Training Support Fund (TSF) to the TESDA scholars.
“This is just one among the many sustainable government actions and solutions towards stamping poverty and solving local communist conflict and strengthen its reach through skills training provisions to indigent and the vulnerable members of society in close collaboration with our partner LGUs together with other national line member agencies,” Dir. Tarhata said. Moreover, Dir. Mapandi assured that in as far as skills training is concerned, TESDA will continue to provide quality TVET through the delivery of relevant TESD programs and services not just in the mainstream but also to far-flung communities.
The caravan hopes to highlight the projects under the Duterte administration through the “whole-of-nation approach” where government agencies as well as volunteers from the private sectors collaborate and cooperate in showcasing the Duterte Legacy projects at the community or barangay.
It also aims to cascade to the barangays and citizens the projects, programs, and accomplishments of the present Administration and showcase how these services directly benefited the citizens. (Robert E. Roperos, TESDA Caraga/PIA Agusan del Norte)
