Psychology? The goal of the Psychology program mirrors the College’s goals, in particular the theoretical perspectives, research methods and empirical findings. The curriculum is designed to offer a variety of courses to enhance students’ familiarity with the breadth and depth of the many areas of Psychology. Throughout students’ education in the Psychology Department, they are encouraged to utilize and enhance valuable skills such as creativity, diverse and critical thinking, and problem solving. The Department is committed to providing knowledge and experiences that students can effectively apply to their work, life and community. The Psychology Program’s objective is to ensure that every undergraduate receives high-quality instruction in all of the essential areas of psychology (e.g., General Psychology, Research Methods, Statistics), and be exposed to a wide range of sub-fields so that undergraduate students can make educated and informed decisions regarding future occupational and educational choices.
