What is Adventures in Aviation and Missile? •

The Adventures in Aviation and Missile Program is a three and half days (3½) enrichment program for middle and high school students (grade levels 8-12). The program is sponsored by the U S Army Aviation and Missile Life-Cycle Management Command at Redstone Arsenal. It provides students with invaluable experience and exposure to how the Army technology, acquisition and sustainment activities function. Working with AMCOM volunteers, students will become knowledgeable of topics related to everyday work and how they relate to national defense. Students participate in small groups exercises that stress problem solving, process analysis and practical applications in mathematics, business, logistics and engineering.

Students in the 8th-12th grades U.S. Citizens
What are the program requirements? • • •
Daily Attendance and punctuality. Transportation to the worksite. Make oral presentation and write a 1-3 page report about the experience in the program.

What can students receive? • • • •
All students receive a welcome kit. All students are eligible for an educational stipend of $100. All students receive Certificate of Completion. Winners of Oral Presentation receive 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Award Ribbon and photograph with the Commanding General and Deputy to the Commanding General.
