IN 2022, CARE PROVIDERS OF MINNESOTA WILL CELEBRATE ITS 75TH ANNIVERSARY—75 YEARS AS A NON-PROFIT MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATION WITH THE MISSION OF LEADING MEMBERS TO EXCELLENCE.

In 1947, the long-term care profession faced challenges that called for an eff ective Association to provide advocacy, resources, and business support. Over the many years, the profession evolved and grew, and the Association both responded to and led these changes. We provided—and continue to provide—what our members need to succeed! Our 2022 celebration gives our members—and the profession as a whole—a perfect opportunity to reflect on the past and set our sights on the future! Today, the Association represents a widely diversified group of providers along the full spectrum of care and services for seniors and persons with disabilities. While we provide membership services in a far diff erent manner from our beginning years, what hasn’t changed in 75 years is the reason for our existence—at its heart, it is still the relationship between the caregivers and the consumers of care that matters. The base of this Association are the members who devote themselves to improving lives for the customers they serve—for 75 years!
