CARE'S PEER PROGRAMS Campus Advocates Respond and Educate to Stop Violence (CARE) offers three Peer Programs: Peer Educators, Outreach Peers, and Peer Advocates. These programs address power-based violence, such as sexual assault, relationship violence, sexual harassment, and stalking.

Educate the campus community about powerbased violence through interactive workshops about bystander intervention, healthy relationships, and consent
Serve as the voice of CARE and responsible for making the UMD campus community aware of CARE services and resources
Work with clients of CARE, which include primary and secondary victims/ survivors of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking, and sexual harassment
