‘“You Have Never Met A Mere Mortal”: What Evangelicals can Learn from C.S. Lewis’s Vision of Salvation.’ Lecturer
Dr Myk Habets BMin, MTh, Grad Dip Tert Tchg, PhD Lecturer – Systematic Theology, Head of Carey Graduate School, Director of the R.J. Thompson Centre for Theological Studies Myk lectures in Systematic Theology, Hermeneutics and Ethics, and has lectured in theology and ethics at the University of Otago, BCNZ (now Laidlaw College), and Pathways College. He has published articles on the Trinity, pneumatology, and soteriology in such journals as: Journal of Theology, New Blackfriars, Irish Theological Quarterly, Journal of Pentecostal Theology and American Theological Inquiry, and he has published three books and edited another five. Myk, with his wife Odele and two lovely children, attend Windsor Park Baptist Church. Myk is passionate to communicate the deep truths of the Christian tradition in ways which connect with believers today and draw them into deeper reflection upon and worship of the triune God of grace. Theology comes from worship and leads to worship – otherwise it is not true theology. All welcome to attend.
