Space Pales Human curiosity leads the constant search for the unknown. When it comes to outer space, human knowledge is almost inexistent. People are drawn to all the unknown factors that embody life outside planet earth: the planets, the possibily of living beings, and all the different temperatures. Space pales is a way to ease the curiosity and bring all those colors into what we see on the daily basis. Inspired by galaxies, the core colors of the collection are violet hues and some tones of blue. The newness will be in softer tinted tones, influenced by the washed hues of natural dyes and unbleached sustainable textiles that are becoming more popular. These hues come in more playful and saturated levels, but still feel sophisticated. These versatile pastel colors will be ideal for transseasonal items.

Sunset Hues Sunsets are the common denominator around the world. Human aspiration is often portrayed by the transition of day to night. The blending of blues and oranges pause the day and triggers self reflection. Blue tones are set to have strong commercial success during this season, particularly with the artificial bright hue. These fresher levels are already gaining strength in the luxury sector, with aqua shades starting to appear in the catwalks. The appeal of orange is broaden beyond the youth market. Saturated Rainforest Once again, nature becomes the inspiration for the runways. The wildlife inspires statement pieces that are paired up with unsaturated accessories in order to tone down the bright hues. Complementary tones become statement colors for the season. Reds and greens are paired together in order to give garments sophistication and power. Greens are growing within the luxury sector, as well as gold accessories. By S/S 21 these tones will definitely hit mass production. After the neon trend, deeper hues are the shift to more natural tones. Accent tones include yellows and golds which will complete the overall feeling of a tropical jungle.

Metropolitan Peace The city becomes a concrete jungle for the population. With the busy lives of consumers, their only scape are the neutral tones of the city. These hues draws them back to human nature and make them feel security. All the rush and contamination is toned down with these season’s neutrals. Which have gained popularity in the latest runways. These colors are versatile and mostly appear in office wear. Greys become more popular as trends swing back towards minimalism. This is in line with a broader shift for neutrals, boosted by the rise of formalwear and monochromatic streetwear. Following the sense of scape, these tones also act as necessary neutrals to balance the brights hues for the season.
