BRIEF TITLE Raw Type Part 2 The Brief Using the Doppler typeface as a starting point, showcase the typeface within context of a proposed branding for an exhibition at the Dana Centre focussing on Aeronautical Engineering, Speed and Sound. Concept/Proposition Breaking Waves
Considerations For a typeface design that is very conceptual and not as easily readable how can the type be structured in a laid out way to make it more readable? Is the text abbreviated somewhere else and is the Doppler type merely a decorative part of the design? How can imagery play a part in communicating aspects of sound as a visual supplement to the design? What specific form of printed material does and exhibition require and how can they be exploited? What are the audience’s visual requirements that they need in order to make sense of the type?
