Carlos Zarzalejo

Carlos Zarzalejo (Caracas, 1975). From an early age, he manifested his passion for writing. In 2014 he won the National Prize of Poetry Monte Ávila Editores for unpublished authors with the poems entitled: "Subversivo". In 2015 he won the World Poetry Festival organized by the Casa de las Letras Andrés Bello, with his book entitled: Wake Up. In 2015 he won the Literature Biennial Ramón Palomares with his book entitled: "Viaje". In 2017 he was a finalist in the International Poetry Competition Altino, Italy, with her poem "Manhattan puede esperar". He has dedicated his life to university teaching at prestigious universities in Venezuela. He has worked for more than 15 years at the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador, where he also obtained his Doctor of Education degree.
