MINDFULNESS AND IMPROV NEW!

Mindfulness is all about living in the present moment by acknowledging our thoughts, feelings, and sensations in the body without judgment. Improv aligns well with mindfulness in that it strives to foster spontaneity and creativity because one cannot plan their moment to moment. In this group, we will explore exercises that expand one’s ability to play, actively listen, respond authentically, and ultimately be present for oneself and others. The goal is to fine-tune communication and develop anxiety reduction habits in a fun way without the pressure of performing on a stage. Embracing the “yes” takes practice and this is the space to start!
