Rugby is a market town which packs a punch when it comes to beer. Each of the pubs included in this guide have their own unique characteristics but have one thing in common - they sell Cask Ale. This great British product that is unfiltered and unpasteurised beer, conditioned (including secondary fermentation) and served from a cask without additional nitrogen or carbon dioxide pressure. The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) is an independent voluntary consumer organisation which promotes real ale, real cider and the traditional British pub. Further information can be found at www.camra.org.uk and www.rugby.camra.org.uk
