TABLE TENNIS & BADMINTON Lawrence Sheriff School, The Griffin Centre
£6 per session / 12 per day DATES: Monday 25 July, Tuesday 26 July & Wednesday 27 July TIMES: 10:30am to 12:30pm – Badminton 1pm to 3pm – Table Tennis ** Lunch period is supervised for all day bookings, please bring packed lunch and drink. This racquet sport camp is suitable for beginners and more experienced players. Our Level 2 coaches will deliver skills and games activities to improve your range of shots and court positioning.

GOLF
Leam Valley Golf Centre
ÂŁ26 DATES: Monday 8 August to Wednesday 10 August TIMES: 11am to 2pm (Pick up from Town Hall 10.45am, return 2.15pm) ** Please bring a small snack and drink. The 3 day course will have the Centres PGA Professional Coach guide you through all the techniques and shots needed to be the next Rory McIlroy. You will use the driving range and par 3 course over the 3 days, completing over 8 hours of golf tuition. The cost includes transport to and from the venue, hire of equipment, range balls and access to the course.

ARCHERY
Harris CofE Academy Sports Centre, CV22 6BB ÂŁ12 for both days DATES: Thursday 11 August and Friday 12 August Time: 10.30am to 12.30pm

This 2 day course will teach you the skills to be a master bowman, from how to assemble a bow, to aiming and loosing your arrows from a variety of distances. Come along and test out your strength and precision!
HORSE RIDING
Woodbine Stables, Grandborough ÂŁ38 DATES: Wednesday 31 August to Thursday 1 September
Age 8 - 14 years
TIME: 9.30am to 1pm (Pick up from Town Hall 9.15am, return 1.15pm) This 2 day camp is ideal for horse lovers as you get taken through all the joys of owning and riding a horse. Using the centre’s training arena, you learn how to ride, tackle jumps and manoeuvre your horse around obstacles. This is an excellent introduction to stable management and riding. ** Please wear wellington boots or walking shoes, no trainers as you need a shoe with a heel. Suitable trousers are jeans or leggings. The centre advise children to bring antihistamines in case of allergies to horse hair.

SAILING
Draycote Water Sailing Club ÂŁ65 DATES: Monday 1 August to Tuesday 2 August TIMES: 10am to 4pm (Pick up Town Hall 9.45am, return 4.15pm) ** Please bring with you: spare trainers for in the water, swimming costume for under provided wetsuit, towel, packed lunch and sun cream. This 2 day course will take you through the RYA Stage Level 1 Youth Sailing Certificate. You will learn how to rig a Pico Laser before going out on the water and steering and controlling the sails yourselves. The cost of the course includes transport to and from Draycote Water and all safety equipment.

Our two tennis camps is perfect for budding tennis stars to be coached by a Level 3 LTA Tennis Coach. Each camp will take you through all the shots needed to compete against your friends. From serving to drop shots and volleying, you’ll develop your court presence.

Rugby Trampoline Coaches offer this introductory course and will give you the chance to work towards your Trampolining proficiency awards. One of the most popular Olympic Sports, you will learn the variety of jumps and landings before progressing to somersaults.

ARTIST STUDIO DEMONSTRATIONS
Join us to see artists at work in our special studio space inspired by ‘A life in Pattern’ exhibition. Come along, watch and ask questions about what they do and what it is like to be an artist. All demonstrations are free and you can just drop into our education room.

Come and join mixed-media artist Carol Wheeler for some gelli-printing fun. Watch carol play with paints, stamps, stencils and textures to make colourful and unique prints - everyone is different!

STITCHING AND NEEDLE WORK WITH ZOE GILBERTSON Thursday 25th August 10.30am - 1.30pm Zoe is a clothing designer and artist and works with digital looking geometric patterns. This is a very tricky technique of stitching, so you will have to look closely!
ARTIST WORKSHOP POTTERY DAY! Wednesday 3rd August 10.30am – 4.00pm 8 – 11yrs £16
