Thanks to Sierra Holt at The Magazine Antiques, I was able to acquire a pdf of the November 1984 issue, specifically the article starting on page 1234, which was researched, written and published by me and fellow graduate student Jan Huebner. This issue is Vol. CXXVI, no. 5, copyright by Brant Publications, Inc., New York. Dr. Richard Saunders on the faculty of the Department of Art History at that time was in contact with Wendell Garrett, and the kind offer of space in the magazine for two devoted, hard working graduate students was made. I am delighted to be reacquainted with this early scholarly article. I would also like to mention the entry about Frederic Remington's "A Cavalry Scrap" was provided courtesy of another graduate student, Jackson Rushing, who eventually went on to teach at the University of Oklahoma.
