Deborah Adelene Carroll (Thomas) was born February 17, 1954 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Alma Carroll.
Deborah received her education in the Sand Springs and Los Angeles Unified school systems. She attended Booker T. Washington school in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Audubon Junior High School and Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, California
Deborah attended First Baptist Church in Sand Springs with her family.
Deborah was a homemaker and later in life also worked in the food service industry for several companies in Tulsa.
Deborah joined Timothy Baptist Church as a candidate for baptism on July 4, 2010 and was baptized July 11, 2010.
On Saturday, October 22, Deborah transitioned to her new life at her home surrounded by family and dear friends.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two children; Deneen Carroll and Edward Ousley; her grandchildren, Shaun Carroll and Ezra Carroll-Grimes; her brothers Allen Carroll and Gerald Carroll; her sisters Donna Steele and Vernette Hall; her brother in law, Michael Hall; and her Sons-in Love, LaDon Grimes and Nathanael Ojengbede; her cousins and many nieces, nephews and lots of friends. Deborah was preceded in death by her mother, Alma Carroll; her brothers Alvin Carroll, Granville Carroll, Heri (H. K.) Carroll; and her sisters Marcia Jones and Alene (Vonnie) Carroll Patrick.
It is during times like this that the true blessing of family and friends is revealed. The family of Deborah Carroll sincerely thank all of you for your prayers, comfort, love and support during our time of bereavement. We appreciate every act of kindness and expressions of sympathy and love shown to us. May the Lord bless and keep you in perfect peace! We love you.
