AR CHI VE SE RI E S Reimagining Bulova’s most nostalgic designs, while infusing modern elements, the Archive Series represents the ultimate celebration of Bulova’s history of firsts. Bulova travels back in time to unlock some of its most memorable moments in history. Based on a prototype originally designed for the U.S. Navy, the MIL-SHIPS-W-2181 submersible timepiece was never commercially launched, making 2021 the first time watch enthusiasts will have to own this luxury watch. The limited edition packaging replicates an old diver’s helmet as an acknowledgment to the development of the original prototype. This Special Edition Lunar Pilot Chronograph from the Archive Series celebrates the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing. This limited edition watch comes with a commemorative coin and special packaging, and it is limited to just 5,000 individually numbered pieces worldwide.

AN HOMAGE TO OUR FOUNDER Joseph Bulova founded the Bulova brand in New York City in 1875. In 1912, Bulova established the first manufacturing plant committed to the total production of wristwatch components in Biel/Bienne Switzerland. This plant was in operation until 1985. The Joseph Bulova collection pays homage to the brand’s founder as well as its Swiss watchmaking history. The Limited Edition automatic timepieces are designed in New York City and crafted in Switzerland, using fine Swiss movements. Each timepiece in the collection is limited to 350 pieces. The distinctive designs in the collection are inspired by Bulova designs from the Art Deco era of the 1920’s to the 1940’s. Each of the designs features signature elements true to the vintage Bulova watches of the time — interpreted with an eye for the contemporary consumer. 1928 President Timepiece

SIGNATURE ELEMENTS Each of the styles feature signature elements true to the vintage Bulova watches of the Art Deco era. The case shapes, dial colors, Arabic numerals, leather straps and steel bracelets are all uniquely created for each style, but flow together to form a cohesive and exciting collection. Each watch features an open case back showcasing the fine Swiss automatic movement with a custom Bulova rotor and is engraved with the Joseph Bulova signature, “1875”, as well as the individual number of each limited edition style. All designs feature double-press deployant closures and are water resistant to 30M.

An elegant addition to the Joseph Bulova Collection is the Chronograph, inspired by vintage Bulovas from the 1940’s. This luxurious timepiece features a 60 seconds chronograph in center second hand,30 minutes counter at 12 o’clock, 12 hours counter at 6 o’clock and a Telemeter scale on the inner dial ring.

M IL ITARY CO L LEC TI ON The Military Collection is a celebration of Bulova’s longstanding connection to the military, bringing historical elements to timepieces made for the modern day. Through the years, Bulova has supported U.S. Army efforts— from manufacturing timekeeping devices for military use, to the founding of the Joseph Bulova School of Watchmaking, which provided training and job placement for disabled veterans after World War II. The original Bulova HACK watch was issued to the U.S. Military during World War II and was one of the first watches of its kind. As precision was essential, fighting forces relied on the hack seconds function of the watch to synchronize their movements to the second. The newest edition of the HACK watch, inspired by the 1950’s original, is casually cool, comfortable to wear, and is a nod to Bulova’s past. In 1943, the United States Army Air Forces initiated a project to test a new pilots’ watch that was developed by Bulova as a “Type A-15 Elapsed Time Watch” and was designed to meet the specific requirements of pilots navigating by radio aids, dead reckoning, or pilotage. The re-imagined edition incorporates unique features of the original, such as elapsed time function, while updated styling fits with the aesthetic of today.

MIL I TARY — A 15 H A C K W ATCH A-15 PILOT WATCH In 1943, the United States Army Air Forces initiated a project to test a new pilots’ watch that was developed by Bulova. The test watch was described by the USAAF as a “Type A-15 Elapsed Time Watch” and was designed to meet the specific requirements of pilots navigating by radio aids, dead reckoning, or pilotage. The type A-15 was developed with: • Automatic movement • Powered by the natural motion of the wearer’s arm with 42-hour power reserve • 21-jewel bearings reduce friction and improve accuracy • Dial features two rotating inner rings that are operated by the 2H and 4H crowns. They measure elapsed time in minutes and hours, and the hours ring can also be set to indicate a second time zone • Sapphire Domed Crystal with anti-reflective coating • Supple top-stitched leather strap to complete the look • Crafted in solid stainless steel • Water resistant to 30 meters SETTING INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1: Pull out the crown. Turn crown to move the hands forward (clockwise) to set the time. Set the minute hand approximately 5 minutes ahead of the desire minute marker, then back to the same marker. STEP 2: Push the crown back to the “IN” position. SPECIAL ELAPSED TIME FEATURE There are two movable rings at the outer edge of the watch dial: • One ring for hours that have numbers 0 () to 11. • One ring for minutes that has numbers 0 () to 55. MA N U AL W I N D M O V E M E NTS Manual Wind Movements: While the energy producing mainsprings on automatic mechanical movements are wound during a wearers daily activity, those on manual wind movements, such as on Sellita’s SW215, need to be manually wound by rotation of the crown. These movements are often referred to as “hand-wound movements” because they have to be manually wound by hand to create energy in the watch’s mainspring. To wind a manual movement, it is recommended to take the watch off our wrist. Winding the crown while wearing the watch may place too much strain on the internal mechanisms. Approximately 20 to 25 clockwise rotations of the crown will fully charge the SW215 to reach it’s 42 hour power reserve. Winding of the crown should stop as soon as there is strong resistance. Many recommend winding a manual wind movement daily before placing the watch on your wrist to achieve optimal results.

This is because it is the inner circumference of a bracelet when the closure is shut that determines fit, not the actual length when laid out flat. Inner circumference depends on styling and materials used—for example, beads take up more space than flat leather—so the actual length will be different for the two styles to fit on the same wrist. The inner circumference of the bracelet corresponds to the outer circumference of the wrist. CHOOSE A BRACELET SIZE BY MEASURING YOUR WRIST – MEASURING FOR BRACELETS AND CUFFS: 1. Using a flexible measuring tape*, measure the circumference of your wrist by fitting it right above the wrist bone (toward the elbow). 2. CA RIN G F O R Y O UR B UL OVA J EWELRY Your Bulova Jewelry is crafted of 316L Stainless Steel and may incorporate leather, precious and semi-precious gemstones and other materials in the designs. We create all of our jewelry with the utmost attention to quality — however, all Jewelry requires proper maintenance and care to ensure its lasting beauty. We recommend removing jewelry before showering, during household chores and avoid wearing it to the beach, pool, or playing sports in order to protect it from damage. Many substances may permanently damage or discolor your Bulova Jewelry. Please avoid contact with chlorine, salt water, cosmetic products, fragrance, hairsprays and corrosive or solvent-based cleaning agents. High temperatures, strong light and high humidity may also cause undesired changes in some materials used. Stainless Steel is a very durable alloy that does not corrode or rust — but it can scratch. Wear and store your Jewelry in a way that minimizes contact with items that can damage it. Store your pieces individually in the soft pouches provided with purchase, in a dark and dry place. Do not place the pieces on top of each other. DO NOT USE AN ULTRASONIC BATH ON THE JEWELRY TO CLEAN IT. Please see below for cleaning tips: STAINLESS STEEL: Simply use mild liquid soap and water to clean your stainless steel Jewelry when it is dull and dirty. Use a soft cloth to clean and dry your pieces. LEATHER: Do not submerge Leather in water. Hand blot with a damp cloth or sponge, cold water and mild soap to gently clean. Wipe off excess moisture. Do not submerge Leather in water. Allow to dry completely prior to storing. All of our Leathers are genuine and display unique characteristics of organic materials so please allow for slight variations in color and texture. Due to the dying process, some slight color transfer is possible during wear and/or cleaning and does not constitute a defect. DIAMONDS: Take care of all gemstones to ensure the pieces are not dropped or bumped/knocked with or against other objects, as stones may loosen from their settings and/or fall out. Clean by wiping with a damp cloth and mild soap. If needed, gently remove dirt around the stone by using a soft-bristle baby toothbrush — do not rub as this may scratch the stainless steel around the diamonds. SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES: Avoid dropping or knocking with or against other objects, as stones may scratch, chip or break. Clean by wiping with a damp cloth and mild liquid soap.

MA TE R IA L S GENUINE LEATHER: All of our Leathers are genuine and display unique characteristics of organic materials so please allow for slight variations in color and texture. Due to the dying process, some slight color transfer is possible during wear and/or cleaning and does not constitute a defect. GENUINE DIAMONDS: We fully comply with the Kimberley Process to ensure that all of our diamonds are conflict free. All of our Diamonds are certified as Genuine. BLACK DIAMONDS: Our Black Diamonds are high pressure heat treated to achieve their color. This method is standard industry practice as natural Black Diamonds are rarely found in nature, which makes them extremely expensive. Most black diamonds available in the market have been treated to enhance the diamond color. Polished or rough diamonds under this treatment are exposed to very high temperatures, almost burning them to change the color. The treatment is permanent and considered natural. Treated black diamonds are more affordable and equally stunning as the untreated natural black diamonds. BROWN DIAMONDS: These beautiful diamonds are formed due to nitrogen being part of the formation process. The more nitrogen present, the higher the saturation and the deeper the brownish color of the stone. In the diamond world, brown diamonds are the most common variety of diamonds out there and they are relatively more affordable than other colored diamonds. Brown diamonds come in a range of colors from very light to very dark. They are graded on a C1 to C7 scale. We use C4 grade in our Jewelry—a Medium color range. Since these are natural stones, the individual colors may vary slightly all forming a uniquely personalized look. SEMI PRECIOUS GEMSTONES: We use a variety of semi precious stones in our jewelry. All are certified to be genuine and as such, each one is distinctly unique. No two stones are alike and the variations in color and markings are a representation of their organic beauty and should not be considered as defects. LAVA BEADS: Jewelry made from lava rock beads is infused with the organic connection to our planet. Lava beads are made from volcanic lava stone, a product of cooled down molten rock (Basalt, an igneous rock), which comes directly from Earth’s core and rises to the surface. These black beads have irregular surfaces, with the crevices making each one of a kind.
