CASA CERAMICA
Chymia is produced in glazed porcelain stoneware and is composed by 22 elements in the single size of 30x30 cm and thickness of 10 mm. Obtained by combining the principle structures with 11 textures, that can be placed randomly. They are rectified and available in both Black and White versions. Starting from the wide range, four mixes of 6 different articles (linked by the colour) have been realised. The slight differences in the pattern among the pieces are intentional to obtain a never repetitive laying effect.

Philosopher Immanuel Kant once stated:
“Give me matter and I will build a world out of it”. In the world of ceramics the matter is clay, a mineral matter, a moldable matter. Why trying to reproduce something out of its context if you can build a whole world of tactility and beauty? This is why Mutina is synonymous with auteur ceramics and creativity.
Mutina Alphabet is a code that Mutina built in over one decade, implementing a multifaceted approach to the world of ceramics, a research that pushes the boundaries of the material itself in order to create a product that not only unites technology, craft and experimentation, but has the same dignity and specificity of a design object. The constant experimentation throughout the infinite range of whites, blacks, neutrals which became the very essence of our language, the letters of Mutina Alphabet.
