MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY
• Whether you are looking to rent a home, go golfing, visit the Sunriver Nature Center and Observatory, hire a guide to go fly fishing or dine at your favorite restaurant, be sure to do so before arriving to guarantee you can do what is on your vacation bucket list. • Rent equipment before you need it and try to avoid doing the day you want to use it.
DRIVING IN SUNRIVER
• Please obey speed limits. • Be aware of pedestrians and bikers crossing the road. • Driving at sunrise and sunset can be a challenge, especially with the glare. • The local deer and their wild buddies have not learned how to use the crosswalks. Do not be caught off-guard of the wildlife meandering across the road. • Remember to signal when exiting a roundabout.
FIRE SAFETY
• Park your car only on the driveway. Parking off the driveway or road can risk starting a fire. • Do not use fireworks in Sunriver. Repeat: Never use fireworks in Sunriver. • Do not use open flame fire pits. • Douse any cigarettes in water.
SOUND CARRIES
• Quiet time starts at 10 pm and ends at 8 am • Sound does carry so it is possible to hear loud gatherings a few blocks away.
ASK QUESTIONS
• Contact the Sunriver Area Chamber of Commerce or visit Central Oregon Visitors’ Association in The Village at
Sunriver if you are seeking information about where to go and what to do.
A FEW MORE THAT YOU ALREADY KNOW:
• Treat your rental as your own home. • Be kind and considerate to the people who work in the restaurants, shops and recreational facilities.
