WEST CARSTAIRS LAMBS WALKER HUGHES

Hi my name is Walker, this is my 3rd year in 4-H but 1st year with a market lamb. My lamb’s name is Crowley. My lamb’s birthday is January 14th and he weighed 12lbs. At our clubs weigh day Crowley weighed 61.8lbs. Crowley is a Charollais ×/Dorset. Crowley is a quiet lamb but is also very spirited and loves to stomp those hooves. Crowley and I hope to see you May 23rd and thank you for your support this year.

Annabelle Rodbourne

Hello! My name is Anabelle and I am in grade 8. I have a Southdown Lamb this year, and his name is “Woolly Nelson” Nelson for short :) I think he is going to have great confirmation. He already has very strong muscles and a good stance. I am looking forward to growing him to be great quality meat. Hope to see you at our show!

Ayden Baker

Hi, my name is Ayden Baker, and I’m enjoying my 4th year as a member of the Cremona 4H club, as well as my fourth year in the sheep projects. My projects this year are market lamb, Champ, ewe lamb, Kink, yearling ewe, Katy, and Nanaimo, my mature ewe project. My other non animal projects, are judging and outdoor education. My market lamb, Champ, is a Ile de France/Rideau cross, home bred ewe lamb. She will be a great replacement ewe lamb to add to your flock. She is fed twice daily, as well as exercised daily. She is a pleasure to work with. Champ has a very calm and friendly personality. I find her to be a lot of fun to have around the house, and we are working hard to prepare for the competition. You can come meet Champ and I at our achievement day, the Carstairs and Cremona, 80th annual show and sale.

Bella Quigley

Hello, my name is Bella Quigley. I’m 11 years old and in grade 6. This is my first year in 4-H. Let me introduce to you my lamb Rocky. He is a purebred Southdown. I look forward to halter breaking him this year and having a good show and sale. I also hope you can come to our show and sale at the Carstairs Memorial Arena on May 23, 2023.
