CHARLEY CARLSON

Hello, my name is Charley Carlson. I am 13 years old, and this is my second year in 4-H. I am in grade 7. My lamb’s name is Cooper and he is a Arcott/Suffolk cross. Cooper has a great body composition, which will make him a delicious addition to your Sunday brunch. He also has fantastic colouring. In my spare time I like to play hockey, hunt and fish. Thank you for supporting 4-H, it means more than you know to kids like me. I hope to see you at the show.

Dylan Oldale

My name is Dylan Oldale and this is my 3rd year in 4-H. I go to school in Crossfield at WG Murdoch, I am in seventh grade. This year in 4-H I have a lot of projects, I have a market lamb (Luigi), Ewe lamb (Luna), yearling ewe (Kaptain- lambs at foot- Loki and Luke Skywalker), mature ewe (Joker- lambs at foot- Lloyd and Lego Batman), and a judging project. My Market lamb Luigi is a home grown purebred Suffolk. He was born on February 8th, 2023 and weighed 17lbs. Luigi has been fed a home ration of pellets, oats, corn soybean, and alfalfa. I love the attention my lambs need from me. As soon as I get off the bus we all go straight to the barn and the work begins. Thank you for considering my lamb and for supporting the Cremona 4-H Members and Club.

Hello! My name is Charlotte Keitel, this is my fifth year in 4H, and I am pleased to present to you my lamb Viridian! Viridian is a Katahdin X East Friesian with a curious personality and what is shaping up to be great meat. I choose the name I did because this year I am naming my animals, a ewe lamb project and this market lamb, after colours and Viridian is a beautiful green. I hope I can meet you at this years Show ‘n Sale and I also hope that you are considering my animal as a great addition to your freezer.

Charlotte Keitel Ella Allen

My name is Ella Allen, I’m 13 years old and this is my 4th year in the Cremona 4-H Club! I am so excited to show this year and I can’t wait for you to see my amazing market lamb! I’ve started halter breaking which has been challenging but I’m sure she will catch on. I hope you can see my progress at the show this year!

Hailey Oldale

Hi, my name is Hailey Oldale. I live on a farm west of Crossfield, I am in 6th grade at WG Murdoch. This is my 3rd year in 4-H. This year I have a mature ewe-Juicy Fruit (her lamb, Licorice), a yearling ewe-Kotton Kandy, a ewe lamb-Love Bug, a market lamb-Lucky Charm, and also a judging project. I have had female projects for three years so I have my own flock to show. I love 4-H. I love all my sheep , and I am so happy I had the chance to join 4-H. Lucky Charm is a home grown purebred Suffolk. He was born January 18, 2023 and weighed 14lbs. We feed a ration of corn, pellets, soybean, oats, and alfalfa. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope you can support me and other 4-H members by buying one of our market lambs or a market steer.

Logan Carroll

My name is Logan Carroll, and I am 17 years old. I am in Grade twelve at Cochrane High School. This is my ninth year in the Cremona 4-H Club. This year is my eighth year with a Market lamb. My Market lamb's name is Ricky Ricardo and he is a Suffolk Cross. I have spent a lot of time with my lamb, taking good care of him, and teaching him how to lead. I would like to thank you for supporting 4-H and purchasing my Market lamb.

Lorelei Baker

Hi, my name is Lorelei Baker and this is my second year in 4H. I am participating in market lamb, ewe lamb and yearling ewe projects this year. Outside of livestock projects I am also part of the judging club and outdoor education club. This year my market project is Mentos. She is a Ile De France x ewe lamb. She has a very nice running gear and has a great feed capacity, she is also quite correct. I believe that Mentos would make a great replacement ewe lamb who will be a productive member of your flock. Mentos and I look forward to seeing and visiting with you at the Carstairs and Cremona Show and Sale.

Robie Carlson

Hello, My name is Robie Carlson, and I am 13 years old this is my second year in 4-H. This year I have a market lamb and a ewe lamb project. My market lamb name is Harvey, and he is Arcott\Southdown. With care and attention from myself, Harvey will be a delicious addition to your freezer and table. Besides 4-H I also play hockey, hunt, and ride horses. Thank you for supporting our 4-H club, this show and sale day wouldn’t be possible without you.

Shelby Oldale

Hi, my name is Shelby Oldale. I am so excited to be in my 3rd year of 4-H. I am 14 years old and in grade 9. My favorite part of coming home at the end of a long day of school is being greeted by our sheep. They get so excited to see me! This year I will have a market lamb (Lotso), a ewe lamb (Lady), a yearling ewe (Kruella, her lamb-Lumiere), a mature ewe (Bo Peep, her lamb-Little Lightyear), and a judging project. I name my sheep based on the livestock letter of the year and Disney characters. This year all my lambs are part of my homegrown purebred Suffolk flock. I raise my lambs on a corn, pellet, soybean, alfalfa and oats ration. My market lamb Lotso was born March 13, 2023 and weighed 17lbs. Thank you for supporting the 4-H members for your consideration!

Simon Keitel

Hi. My name is Simon Keitel and I’m a third year Junior member in the Cremona 4-H club. This is my East Friesian wether, Chevy. He was born on our farm on January 8. Because I’ve been around him since he was born, I’ve gotten familiar with his jumpy and happy attitude. He’s a lot of fun! Thanks for coming to our Show and Sale!

Wren Carlson Victoria Moore

Hello, my name is Victoria Moore and I am 19 years old. This is my 11th year in 4H, and my 3rd year doing sheep projects. My market lamb ‘Bowser’ is a Suffolk Charolais X and was born on January 18th. He is on premium feed and gets lots of attention. He is extremely food motivated and I am excited to see how he fills out. Thank you for your support of 4-H!

Hello, My name is Wren Carlson. This is my second year in 4-H, and I am 11 years old. This year I am showing an Île-de-France/Southdown wether named Walter. I have worked hard to raise a fantastic lamb for your future dinners. I know he is going to taste incredible. Besides doing market lamb, I am also doing ewe lamb project.
