SOARING OVER CATALINA 24th Annual Catalina Island Conservancy Ball Saturday, April 6, 2019 Avalon Casino Ballroom Catalina Island Soaring Over Catalina will celebrate the newly repaired runway at the Conservancy’s Airport in the Sky and the landmark partnership for strategic training with the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy to execute this project. The Airport in the Sky is a historic and critical asset to Catalina Island, providing access for first responders and more than three million pounds of freight each year. Although privately owned by the Conservancy, the Airport in the Sky serves the public welcoming thousands of general aviation flights each year and encouraging a unique type of recreation to visitors and locals alike. We invite you to join us as a Ball sponsor and enjoy a night celebrating all that the Conservancy does to maintain the ecological health of the Island to ensure the ability for you and future generations to enjoy.
