Preparazione Mescolare il torrone con la base del gelato di crema e pastorizzare a 85°C. Raffreddare e mantecare con la gelatiera.
300 g di gelato di crema
Preparare nel frattempo il flan montando lo zucchero con i tuorli, aggiungere il burro fuso, la purea di bucce di mandarino (setacciata bene e fatta bollire per tre volte in acqua fredda), il cioccolato sciolto e la farina.

Montare a neve gli albumi con un movimento di frusta dall’alto verso il basso per ottenere il massimo volume e aggiungerli. Disporre negli stampi monoporzione e cuocere a 220°C per 6 minuti. Preparare la salsa facendo cuocere la burrata nella panna e zucchero per 5 minuti; aggiungere poi i pistacchi e frullare. Disporre il tutto al centro del piatto e sfornarvi sopra il flan. Servire infine il mantecato di torrone. Guarnendo con una julienne di mandarino.

5. GUEST OPERATIONS AT LAUNCH EVENTS
FIRM ESA - European Space Agency
5.1 ARIANE 5/SOYUZ/VEGA LAUNCHES FROM THE GUIANA SPACE CENTRE Ariane 5 launchers (and Soyuz and Vega launchers in the near future) lifting-off from the Guiana Space Centre, Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana, may at times carry on board ESA payload. In such cases, ESA’s Director General invites a group of VIP Guests to witness the launch through his Protocol Office/Cabinet. Categories of VIPs to be exclusively invited by ESA’s Director General are referenced below in 5.2. VIP operations are prepared ahead of time by the ESA Protocol Office/Cabinet in close coordination with the responsible services within Arianespace, the launch service provider. Arianespace has the lead function in establishing and implementing a VIP programme for all inviting parties, i.e. the Customer (ESA in such a case), the Prime Contractor and other firms involved in the spacecraft launch and CNES.
Corporate leaflet The Director General’s Cabinet/Protocol Office bears the costs of hosting a lunch or a dinner for all guests (shared with the Directorate having responsibility for the spacecraft being launched, or the Directorate of Launchers itself) and shares pro rata with Arianespace, CNES and other inviting parties (typically industry) local transport costs, interpretation and other hospitality costs (receptions, other costs) not attributed to a single inviting entity. VIP activities/ guest operations for future Soyuz and Vega launches will follow a similar scheme.
The VIP programme normally provides for a grouped departure from Paris two days prior to the launch using commercial flights, but often, especially for large groups, using ad-hoc chartered flights. Depending on the exact launch time, departure from Paris may also occur the day prior to the launch. A contingency day, to cope with 24 hours launch delays, is usually built into the programme (see also 5.8: Launch delays). Hotel accommodation in French Guiana is the limiting factor for guest operations: typical groups range between 60 and cannot exceed a maximum of 120 guests (including media, with typically 20 to 30 participants). The VIP programme includes a presentation of the Guiana Space Centre and of the Ariane 5 mission given by senior ESA, Arianespace and CNES officials in the “Jupiter Room” of the Jupiter Control Centre, as well as a visit to the launcher integration buildings and facilities. For Ariane 5 launches, VIP guests can either follow the launch from the balcony at the Jupiter Control Centre (some 12 km away from the launch pad) or from a viewing site closer to the launch pad called “Toucan” (some 4 km away from the launch pad itself). The ESA Director General and ESA top management – who also have an operational role in the mission – usually remain at the Jupiter Control Centre together with Arianespace and CNES top management. 5.4 UNMANNED LAUNCHES FROM BAIKONUR
5.7 LAUNCH EVENTS AT ESA ESTABLISHMENTS
Typical unmanned Soyuz launches from Baikonur, with Starsem as flight service provider, will be discontinued as soon as Soyuz launches begin taking place from the Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana (end 2010).
“European Guest Centre” at one of ESA’s Establishments to allow large groups of invited guests and the media to follow the launch activities via a video-transmission produced by the ESA Communication Department itself.
A Dnepr launcher (decommissioned and reconverted ballistic missiles provided by Kosmotras) successfully carried ESA’s Cryostat-2 into orbit on 8 April 2010. A very small ESA operational project management team can be hosted at Dnepr launches, though VIP activities cannot be accommodated in such cases. The launch of Cryosat-2 was followed from ESA-ESOC (see also Section 5.7 for such launch events).
The Protocol Office bears the cost of local transport from Moscow airport to downtown hotels and return the day of arrival and departure. The Directorate having responsibility for the spacecraft being launched, bears the cost of hosting a dinner for guests in Moscow the night of arrival. The ESA Moscow Office provides support with the organisation and

5.6 MAXUS LAUNCHES FROM KIRUNA
Rockot launchers – decommissioned and reconverted ballistic missiles lifting-off from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, some 800 km north of Moscow – can at times carry ESA satellites on board.
Maxus and other sounding rockets are launched from Esrange located about 40 km east of Kiruna, in northern Sweden above the Artic Circle. Since 1972, Esrange has been managed by the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC). The Maxus sounding rocket programme is funded by ESA through the ELIPS programme (European programme for LIfe and Physical Science). Sounding rockets and launch services are provided by an industrial joint venture between EADS Astrium and the Swedish Space Corporation.
Logistics at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome have to undergo strict military regulations and very long clearance processes to be initiated months ahead of the launch. Good quality hotel accommodation in Mirny (the town nearest to the launch area) is extremely limited. Air transport restrictions (the short landing strip can only accept very small planes) are also a limiting factor, a night train from Moscow on a 21 hour long trip being the only viable alternative to reach the area. For such launches only a very small VIP delegation can be envisaged, together with an equally small number of ESA senior management representatives. Typical groups do not exceed 10-12 (including VIPs and senior ESA managers). Eurockot, the launch authority for Rockot launchers, has the lead function in establishing and implementing a VIP programme for ESA management and selected VIPs. The VIP programme normally provides for departure from various European capitals to Moscow one day prior to the launch on commercial flights, and - depending on the launch time- a flight to the Plesetsk area by chartered 15-seat plane the day of the launch. Once in Mirny, guests are taken to witness the launch from an observation area near the launch pad and are flown back to Moscow soon after the same day. In the light of all these constraints, media representatives do not attend launches from Plesetsk. The ESA Communication concerned by the spacecraft being launched, sets up a Department, in close cooperation with the Directorate

From time to time, the Swedish Space Corporation invites ESA’s Director General and/or other ESA Directors and VIPs to witness a launch. The programme and the logistics are organised directly by SSC in close cooperation with the Swedish Delegation to ESA. The Director General’s Cabinet is duly informed as to the programme. Accommodation and viewing site capacity are very limited. Only small delegations (of the order of 10 guests at most) can be handled at a launch. No on-site media activities can be organised for such events.
In parallel with guests invited to witness the launch from the launch site, or whenever this solution is not a viable one (as is the case with launches taking place from Plesetsk or Dnepr launches from Baikonur), guests, media and other target groups of interests, are invited to an ESA Establishment to witness the launch. A video-transmission produced by the relevant services within ESA’s Communication Department brings the images of the launch and other content to the audience while a programme with selected speakers from ESA management, academia and or industry around the launch window is established to “entertain” the audience. The programme of the event is established by the local Communication Office in close coordination with the services of the Director concerned. The Director General’s Cabinet is consulted to give their agreement to the programme. Three weeks before the event (if the launch date is known and frozen ahead of time) invitation cards are sent out to VIPs and other target groups (media, other groups) from the local Communication Office of the Establishment concerned, in close coordination with the ESA Protocol Office, which is in charge of sending out letters of invitation to specific guests of the Director General. It is more and more customary to send out invitations by e-mail, especially when there is little time left to invite guests by more traditional means. Hospitality costs for the event are borne by the Directorate concerned and/or the ESA Communication Department.
5.8 LAUNCH DELAYS VIP programmes to witness Shuttle launches, Ariane 5 launches, etc. from the various launch sites, usually include provision of an additional day to cope with a 24-hour launch delay. In case of longer delays which are known sufficiently ahead of time, the launch trip is postponed. The same applies to launch events to be followed from ESA Establishments.

Le département Recherche et Développement de Trelleborg Wheel Systems, un centre d’excellence dans le développement de nouveaux modèles de pneus utilisés dans l’agriculture et dans les secteurs de l’industrie et des matériels de manutention, a développé le nouveau pneu Elite XP avec la meilleure technologie du moment. En étroite collaboration avec d’importants laboratoires et universités, de nouvelles solutions ont été développées et appliquées. L’une des clés du succès de la prochaine génération de pneus provient du concept de contrôle de la déformation interne du pneu sous charge ainsi qu’à vitesse variable et dans des conditions d’accélération. La technologie Trelleborg de Contrôle de la Déformation (Controlled Deformation Matrix) associe les résultats de l’analyse d’éléments finis appliquée à des produits à base de caoutchouc avec le XP Design System pour la définition des parties de la couronne et des flancs. Un certain nombre de paramètres ont été établis, acquis sur le terrain, analysés et mis en corrélation avec le design du pneu et les tests en intérieur tenant compte de la mise au point des performances du pneu.
